Someone please tell me this is some stoner's poor attempt at an April Fool's joke. The acting is horrible, the writing is transparent, the music is reminiscent of soft core porn. Has Tim and Eric simply taken over Adult Swim, and the creative juices of all the executives and writers just ceased to function?! Has the whole world gone mad?! You replace Robot Chicken, one of the best innovative and creative juggernauts in animation since Akira and instead show us this feeble attempt of filmmakking! A POX ON THEE!!! PS. What the hell is right this is ridiculous I put up with tim and eric night after night and now I'm subjected to soft core porn? This is an actual, real, movie, "The Room" by Tommy Wiseau or however it's spelled. If you spent the time to google it, you coulda found out. Apparently he made this in 2003. It's supposed to be a dark comedy, but I'm missing the funny. I don't know, I thought The Room movie website was fake when I visited it, but it's on IMDB in 2003 so....I mean, yeah. This is real. It **♣ lucky charms ♣ **, but is real. Unfortunately, in life, the things that blow are usually real, to paraphrase Uncle Gabby. Side note: Tommy Wiseu was in a fileary about homeless people? Here's the thing: Tim and Eric (which is disappointing expecially given the genius of Tom Goes to the Mayor) is weird for the sake of wierd and to people who don't require a plot or characters or coherent story telling, it's a good enough show to watch while drooling into their own hands. Sure, there are gems like Venture Brothers, Metalocalyps, Family Guy, Frisky Dingo, Aqua Teen, Robot Chicken, etc... And I can see now, I'll just have to rent the good shows when they hit DVD since I'm not willing to drown in crap just to get to a few minutes of goodness. This is absolutely bull honkey. No way around it. Soft core porn doesn't belong on CARTOON Network -not even on Adult Swim. I don't say that because of parental or child-friendly issues. I say it because 1) it's not a cartoon and 2) it's not funny. See... what had happened was... they cut the best parts of the movie out. You know, the parts with the body snatchers and brain eating aliens? In the last scene Johnny doesn't eat his gun. Standing behind him was an alien that ate his brains out the back of his head. When Lisa and Mark and the little gay boy enter the room it's hiding behind the door. The door's supposed to shut and the aliens was supposed to eat their brains. Unfortunately the editors removed these vital scenes due to time constraints. Yeah, they cut out Darth Vader dancing in a bikini too. I say we should all pitch in and rewrite this movie so it can be worthy of Adult Swim, because that crap was CRAP.
