First time goer of the Church of Mouse..

I've just finished the first season up. I can't even begin to comprehend the true nature of what I've seen. So many questions that I can't remember as I stayed up til 2am watching it o_O

The only questions I can remember is why does Rhoda have part of the Perfect Hair Forever script embedded in his torso? Is there any significance to that? Far as I can tell it's the part(one of the parts) where Coiffio is talking about Cat Man.

The other question is who or what do the black figures in Mouse's flashbacks/memories represent? I have an idea but I'd like to see what others think.

Also, not to make a novel of this post, but the main thing that propelled me into mousedom was reading the posts in this folder, the fans are so devoted and crazy they're in even deeper than Tim and Eric's hardcore fans, which means that this is obviously a spectacle to behold.

You don't bup bup, I bup bup.

The script on Rhoda's chest is the result of (from what i've heard) Matt M doodling on the back of PHF scripts (that's apparently how 12ozmo was created.)

Mouse is one of those shows that, once you "get it," you can't "get" enough of it.  It's insane, dramatic, and hilarious.  It's a one-of-a-kind show that deserves all the attention it can get.  I'm glad that you're getting wrapped up in the show like we all did once upon a time.

Ah, so they end up generally revealing who that persona is? Awesome I've always been really curious.

And yes, Mouse has me wrapped around his little 12 oz paw. I couldn't imagine having to wait a week between episodes.. I'd have been foaming at the mouth.

I saw a few episodes of Mouse when it first came out and was airing, but I'd always passed it off as garbage due to the crappy animation, and the fact that seeing the episodes not in order/not paying enough attention to them making me think it was just a random smattering of jokes and nonsense like Squidbillies. And I like Squidbillies, don't get me wrong.. But at first glance and with a closed mind mouse just seems like another WS attempt at weird humor, but is SO much more.

The show's animation is part of what makes this show unique. In some ways it does make it inaccessible to a general audience. But that's fine--more mouse for me. When you consider what the creators were going for (and taking into account a very low budget), I'd say the animation is well-done and fits the show very well. Some of the action scenes near the end of the series are actually rather well-animated and very visually appealing.

Just got done with Star Wars VII.. the part where Square was staring at the harmonicas I felt like he was staring into my soul since he's looking directly at the screen. I felt quite uncomfortable and had to look away :smileysad:

It has, with it's weapons-grade philosophical insights.

Oops, wrong show.

Though if Xavier could said to be full of philosophy, you might say Mouse's emptyness and meaning-within-unmeaning is the un-philosophy.

Finished the series.. theory is that the black people are the clocks physical incarnation, because the clock is running everything. The fact that he wasn't in the lab shows that he's the higher up running the show from behind the scenes..

Also Muff=Archeus=was stuck inside Rooster?

Also what did Mouse's closet full of clothes have to do with anything/where did it come from? And what was the purpose of the Skillet Locket?

Must watch again. My brain imploded then exploded back into place after watching the full series
