Thanks

I'll be leaving Adult Swim soon and I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank every Mousinite for supporting the show...  And even for those who didn't like it; thanks for your criticism and opinion.

I miss you already, man! Thanks for the amazing greatness of 12 oz. Mouse, along with all the other great work you've done for Williams Street.
Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a **beast** big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suit on hire purchase in a range of **beast** fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the **beast** you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing **beast** junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, **beast** up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else.

Thank you, Mr. M., for all the entertainment you've given us over the years. Not just Mouse (which stands tall as the strangest series Adult Swim has ever aired), but Aqua Teen and Perfect Hair and every other show you've touched in your time at Williams Street.

Most of all I want to thank you for your contributions to Space Ghost, which wouldn't have been the same without your input right from the very start. The next time I watch "Spanish Translation" or "Kentucky Nightmare" or "Fire Drill" or "Warren" (an underrated episode) or "Banjo" (the show's first instant classic) or "Batmantis" (your first solo writing credit) or the fabulous "BooBooKitty" or "Fire Ant" or "President's Day Nightmare" or, well, any episode of Space Ghost (you've written or co-written so many great ones), I'll lift a glass and drink to your creative genius. See you in Conyers.

Thanks for all your contributions to adultswim over the years.  I always knew that anything with you as a writer would be funny and provocative and surreal - a brilliant combination.  I'm sure you will perform wonderfully in whatever you do next.

Having not officially harassed you [that I am aware of] , I'll just have to take this brief moment in time to say gonna miss you and your various contributions to all that is original Swim. Please don't be a stranger! Otherwise we may have to resort to rumors and reruns of rumors for entertainment.

And I'm not the Mousinite but my cat is [not a lie -.-; ] so on behalf of the beast who is no longer allowed near the keyboard after she left litter on it last time, she's definately making sad faces about you leaving. She'd express it herself except for the keyboard ban and general lack of thumbs.

Good luck Good luck Good luck! :smileyhappy:

Wow. This stings. We're losing one of the primary creative architects of the block. Perhaps the most defining creative force of [adult swim]. Is there a more iconic [adult swim] show than Aqua Teen Hunger Force? Maybe Space Ghost. And here's a head writer of both series. Leaving.

Which brings me to 12 Oz. Mouse, one of the most creatively uncompromising pieces of audio/visual media to ever grace my precious, precious TV. It was different. It was violent. It was cryptic. It had corn dogs. Never before had I seen a show make such an instrumental use of corn dogs. Sometimes the show delighted me with its offbeat charms. Sometimes it infuriated me with its opacity. It always yielded a reaction. That's provocation. That's entertainment at its most successful. That's emotion. 12 Oz. Mouse evoked my emotions. I'm rambling.

In conclusion, thank you. Thank you for the years of surreal entertainment. It's been an experience like few, if any, I've had.

So is this our last chance to confront you about the mysteries of the DVD cover?

haHA! We shall never know, I suppose. I should still commend you for making a DVD release exciting, so thank you.

Oh yeah the series was interesting too :smileyvery-happy:

Hopefully you can make something just as interesting wherever you go, whatever you do.

....so now what? We have to put up with Dave Willis' crap shows? :smileyvery-happy: WHO WILL CARRY THE TORCH?

Wow. :smileysad: Sad to see AS loose yet another of it's greatest assests. So many great shows... ATHF, Space Ghost, PHF but for me, the mouse stands out above it all... there'll never be anything quite like it.

I'll just cross my fingers and hope to see more brilliant comedy from you in the future. Best of luck and thanks for over a decade of great original shows.
