**WARNING: Spoilers ahoy!**
Somewhere out there in the universe, there is a place. At this place are two (seemingly male) humanoids engaged in some form of scientific experimenting. The two, for some unknown reason, have in their collection of experiments a "mind away" device.
In the series finale, "Mouse Fitzgerald" awakens to reality to discover what he's perceived (the show prior to the moment of awakening) as life is but an illusion. Suddenly, two other humanoids storm in and execute the financiers, so that something named Archeus (seemingly a glitch in the system, or rather something equivalent to Oracle from The Matrix) might fulfill something (probably a system cleanse). Suddenly, the programming kicks back in, returning "Mouse" back to his "reality". "Reality", now without a controlling menace, is free to progress on in time.
The series itself is a giant brain in the jar (ala Descartes) metaphor; or it's they knew the "show" was going to end, so they did a Matrix parody.
What this means about the webisode:
The She-werewolf (or whatever) is a part of the programming meant to eliminate a perceived glitch (Mouse and Skillet), hence:
Golden Joe and Peanut Cop were removed from the system, by what means we don't know; it would seem that by PC's sudden disappearance it was an erasure from the program whereas GJ was probably dealt with by the bird much like M&S were dealt with by the She-werewolf.
I'm personally still trying to sort out what the ending might mean.
But I'm planning on watching the Mouse movie again on Tuesday. So perhaps I will figure it all out. With my brain.

I agree with you, and I'm glad that you watched Mouse in episodic format. I believe we've discussed the reasons why the movie doesn't have the same impact that the episodes do. But after watching the episodes, it kind of gives you the groundwork for watching the movie. Despite the few drawbacks, I still think the movie is great.
Somewhat unrelated, I'm going to edit your OP to warn about spoilers. You'd think that since this thread is titled "The Ending" that it goes without saying, but we should probably be safe rather than sorry, because some people around here are really uptight about this issue. It's nothing personal (I do enjoy you and your posts) and I'm certainly not going to go tell a mod. No worries...

I would say that the revelation that some kind of experimentation on Fitz was happening at the end of the series is the really spoilery part. That scene is unique in the series in that it's the first one that sheds any light on why Fitz was caught up in the conspiracy.
I was going to leave it alone when I saw this thread yesterday (I thought the thread title was warning enough), but on second thought, I've seen arguments over whether an explicit spoiler warning is necessary. So I decided it's best to do away with any gray area and make the spoiler warning unequivocal.
Now that we've taken care of this issue, you can have your thread back.

I mean, in context of it being some kind of programming: it is only the webisode that makes for the truly confusing factor of the show. Otherwise, it was a non-consequential ride that had to play out as it did or the final result could not be achieved (i.e. The Matrix and the sequels)
Interesting that Mouse was the same in "reality" as he was in the world of Shark and RBM. He thinks, therefore he is. And remember, the code was replicating in a bad way.
Girl, you'll be a woman soon...and that really bums me out.
