Your score doesn't show up right away on the leaderboards. I see it on the daily list now (you might not, it's spotty). It will be seen for sure in a couple hours. Heckuva job there. If only it were for realz (the money, that is)

How the bleep did you get to level 25 so fast...

I've been playing for 1.5 hours straight and I am level 11, with 7500 exp, with a full yard, 5 field squares, and my yard has a pond and two hydrants.

Verde is the only good plant. No plant gives you as much money per minute per square as Verde does, except two:

*Baby Verde, which you can't use effectively because Hempy can't go around collecting plants that fast.

*Paradise, which gives you almost 2x as much money per minute as Verde but you only get it when you level up to 13.

So the goal is to get to level 13 as fast as possible, and which plant gives you the most XP per minute (remembering to take into account the 5 xp planting bonus)? Verde. 

So yeah, there is no plant that will really reward you with lots of XP and money if you are patient. The fastest way to advance is just to constantly grind Verde plants and go around collecting them in real time, which is a pain. 

I don't really believe you got to level 25 unless there's a hack or some strategy I'm not seeing.

This is weird.

That one plant in the bottom left won't grow at all, and there's nothing I can do about it. I can keep watering it, but nothing else.

Verde is very good as far as money per minute, but that requires you actually sitting there for hours to make some decent money.

The others build your experience faster, plus, I'll plant the aweome things that take hours for when I walk away and don't play.

I planted a bunch of the Snow Tips before going to bed and they were all good to be harvested when I woke up.

I also use the Attic to grow them really long things since it only has one square to watch, that way I can concentrate on the single screen.

That's something else the long-growers are good for.
They allow you to plant something and forget about it while you concentrate on your bigger property.

Verde will wilt if you forget about it (hasn't happened to me yet since I only plant it when I'm watching) so if you're working a million Verdes in the Yard, plant something in the Attic you don't need to pay attention to.

Big Verde is worth the 15 minutes when you want to actually leave the computer.

Also... does watering the plants actually do anything besides just giving you +1 EXP (which is worthless once you pass like Level 4 or 5)?

As far as I can tell, all the plants grow without watering them anyway.
I still water them right after I plant them out of habit, just because it feels natural to do that for a plant.

No, grinding Verde also gives you the most experience. It's 5 for planting + 10 for harvesting, per square per 2 minutes. So that's 7.5 xp/min on each square, which is way more than you can get any other way. Take a 'big' plant like Alien, sure it gives you 5 + 35 = 40 xp, but each planting cycle is an hour, so you're really getting ONLY 0.66 xp/min.

Like I said, though, them long planters are good for when you walk away.
Suppose you left for an hour.
If you're growing Verde, it's wilted and useless by the time you come back, you're out $25 each.
As we speak, I'm growing like 6 Aliens, 2 Deserts, and one of them Pad-XP whatever, i forget the name, the first super bright pink seeds that take 24 hours.
When I go back in about 50 minutes, or even an hour and a half, I can be still earning money.

I'm multi-tasking.

I'm not earning money as fast as you, granted.
But I'm still gaining when I'm not even there.

I'll save the Verde for when I'm concentrating on the game.

Also, some of those bigger plants are just fun to grow, it's not just some green fern.

Aliens look fricken cool as hell and that Pink one has just recent;y gotten to it's second form and is actually rather beautiful.

I'm excited to see what the deset one looks like.

Also, I have a gnome and a phonograph, so they give me more hemp per harvest than usual.

There's a weird bug in the game.  I grew some Big Berry, but under GROW TIME it reads "0:NoN" - also the growth bar is full but there is no plant.  Can anything be done about this?  Tried restarting the browser and everything...
