Third strike. Another save erased. I love the game, but I'm not starting over again until the save feature is fixed. I may look back at this topic from time to time to see if there's any progress made.

That stinks ![]()
Make sure to send a game error report. I can't post the email addy here, but the address appears in the "Instructions" panel underneath the game. Give as much information as you can, including your operating system, browser used, etc. Based on what you wrote, it seems like a glitch.
Unfortunately, this game has been out for a month now, and there hasn't been a single word from anyone of consequence about any of the glitches that have been reported in this thread. The 0:NaN problem? Nothing. The mysterious deleted savegame problem? Nada. Any hint as to when the game will be updated/expanded? Zilch.

ok OK, this is the second time now, 1 magic and the rest of my rainbow ALL VANISH, AGAIN! Is there any logical explanation as to why my entire crop disappears!
Yeah! Well my boot wants to join up with your ass, and I'm about to throw them a shotgun wedding!

Hmm... I've already sent in something about this. I tried registering to post here, but it was giving error messages that didn't make sense. I think the alias I wanted was already taken, but instead it told me that the date was in the wrong format. There was a contact us link I believe on the registration page, so I let them know about both issues. It was later on I tried again adding a "2" on the end of the alias, which obviously worked or I wouldn't be posting here. I suppose I should wait to see if they respond.
If I do fill in a bug report, is there ever a reply back? Like to say they've made a log of the problem or they need more information or such?

Okay, so I just tried this game out and have been trolling over this thread for some tips tricks and ideas and I've got some quetsions.
Game instructions mention only that you can water plants but doesn't mention anywhere in the instructions or the seed info on how often you might need to water them, if even at all. So far I've just been watering when I planted and hten not bothering with it at all after that, but so far I've only been growing the Verde family (still only level 6). Does watering matter at all in this game, and if so, how often should I be watering? And is it possible to overwater and kill your plant?
One thing I have noticed, and when I read the descriptions I wonder why people are doing it, but it sounds like multiple items stack for effecting plants (such as 2 satyrs). At level 6, I'll use the gnome as an example. Sounds like if I had 2 gnomes touching 1 plant, it would yuield +2 crops. If I had 3 gnomes touching the same plant would it yield +3 crops? IS there a cap on how many items will stack for boosting crop/XP/wither times and reducing growth time? So far been soudning like 2 items of the same name is the cap and anything weaker than the best item out will render the weaker item useless.

I don't bother watering my plants, it's not worth the exp. once you reach a certain point and it doesn't speed their growth up at all, and they do not die if you choose not to water them.
And yes, you can double/+ up on special items to increase bonuses.

We don't have any issues using or saving the game on any of the machiens in our house, however we don't clear the history/cache often here.
I wouldn't hold your breath for a 'fix' where it works on most machines, but they, or someone here, may release some tips on how not to unintentionally erase (or have your settings erase) your game, each time you reboot or reload your browser. Seems like that's likely the issue.

Good to know about the watering.
Findign the roccks, flowers, and gnomes are stacking up to 3 times so far, so don't know what the difinitive cap is, although the rocks are giving me some funny numbers so far:
Seems with Baby Verde the wither time increase is as follows:
1 rock = +200% wither time
2 4ocks = +300% wither time
3 rocks = +600% wither time
While with full Verde the tiems are:
1 rock = +150% wither time
2 rocks = +200% wither time
3 rocks = +400% wither time

Yikes, that is actually kinda awesome! I dunno, clear out your cache / restart your browser and try again?
If that doesn't work, try to see if that file is there now. If so, it may be corrupt, so just delete it and try again.

The heck..? I have the same problem. Silly me, I didn't notice it until I had filled all my plots with Big Berry. This problem needs to be fixed! I do not want to start all over again.

Well, I found out I didn't have the latest version of Flash, so we'll see if that makes a difference. But it's probably just another excuse to try starting again for the fourth time.
By the way, for the rest of you having these problems, I'm running Windows XP, IE as my browser, I always play from the same profile, and I'm the only one in the household that visits adultswim.com. As far as I've seen, this is the only adultswim game where my saves keep getting erased or corrupted regularly.

And I can now verify that having the latest version of Flash made no difference. At least not for the better. I go to sleep, wake up, try loading up this new save for the first time, and continue is grayed out again. That's 4 for me.

hey , man , don't give up yet!....
do what Noobull advised me to do on page 4 of this thread.....
right click on the front page of the game , select settings near the bottom of the list , select the middle option ,
and set the thingy to 10mb....
it worked for me , i had hit level 17 last week , and was also ready to call it quits on this game.....
then Noobull came through with some real advice , and now i'm rocking out again....
you can do it!....

Well, he recommended putting it to 1MB or higher. 1 MB didn't work. I guess I could try cranking it all the way up though. I don't have high expectations of it though.

Oh. One other thing I failed to mention. Has anyone else had Hempy sell his fluids? It seems like this could be something to take advantage of early to build up. The conditions seem to be:
1. Nothing growing
2. Nothing to cash out (not 100% sure on this)
3. Be very low on funds. Not sure how low, but $25 worked.
This can probably be used to great advantage while building up the field. This is what I'd recommend.
1. Pre-plan how much to grow. You'll have to figure out what you'll have left after you harvested everything. Each baby verde is a $15 at this stage of the game.
2. Harvest everything at once and cash out. If you've planned this right, your total should now be just above a multiple of $150.
3. Plow what you can. If this has been planned right, you should be able to meet the conditions and have a paycheck coming your way. Aren't farming subsidies grand?
This should give you enough money for plowing and you can repeat the process anew until the entire field is plowed. Just in case it doesn't work though, you may want to leave yourself $10-$25 to leave enough to plant something.

VillieGee wrote:Actually, Oily Lotus provides the most money per minute. A profit of $2000 over 60 minutes is $33.33 per minute. Which is higher than Baby Verde.
Here's the top 5 for dollars per minute, calculated as profit (selling price minus buying price) divided by time in minutes.
Oily Lotus: $33.33/min
Baby Verde: $30.00/min (but as was stated by others, it grows too fast to utilize)
Paradise: $20.00/min
Verde: $12.50/min
Rainbow: 10.07/min
The top 5 for experience per minute:
Baby Verde: 10 pts/min (again, grows too fast to be useful en masse)
Baby Berry & Paradise (tie): 3 pts/min
Verde: 2.5 pts/min
Tri-Verde: 2 pts/min
Mini Indigo: 1.75 pts/min
So there ya go.
For the experience per minute, does this take the 5 exp for planting each plant into account? Also, how do the exp modifiers work?
The information in this topic is spread so far out. Someone should write a guide at some point.

No. The 150 XP/hr for the Verde, for example, does not consider the 5 XP gained for planting. It also does not take into consideration the time it takes to harvest, and then plant. As for how the XP modifiers work, there isn't a simple blanket rule that covers every plant.
Since you still appear to be having troubles with your savegame, don't go too far, otherwise you might end up disappointed yet again. If you lose your game again, send me a PM, and I'll give you my best (but probably a last-ditch) suggestion. (In terms of storage, 1mb should be more than enough, the savegame is only ~35kb at the largest right now. Most savegames are <2kb.)
I had wondered if the game could end up in an intractable situation. Selling fluids, eh? More tongue-in-cheek humor, I guess. That said, I think it would take too much time to lose enough money to make it a worthwhile gamble, but I guess it's good to know that you can get a bailout.

I'm not sure it's that much of a risk. By the way, I'm not sure how it will work with "stuff" on the field. I've got a 24 hour plant currently growing in the attic, so I won't be able to test that any time soon.
Let's try to put some real numbers on this. How much money do you start with again? Let's say it's $100. Start by growing a baby verde ($100 -$10=$90) in the attic and watering the crap out of it. By the time it's ready, you should be level 2 with the yard unlocked and 4 more squares ready for planting. Plant each with a baby verde ($90 - ($10 x 4)=$50). Your plant in the attic should be ready. Harvest it and do not replant. Go to the yard and harvest everything once it's done. Do not replant just yet. Cash out ($50 +($25 x 5)=$175). Now plow a new area ($175-$150=$25).
If nothing happens, plant a couple baby verde and a couple more after harvesting them and cashing out. But you should get a message mentioning Hempy selling some fluids. When I've had this happen, it's been $250-$500. At this early stage in the game, this is not chump change. This is enough money to plant Verde everywhere with enough left over to plow another square (taking into account the $25 you still had left over). If you are able to keep selling fluids, you should be able to completely plow your yard in no time at all.
