So 2012, Mayans, Rapture, blah blah blah. We're three weeks out from Valentine's Day, which means now's as good a time as any to ask your favorite boardie to be your [adult swim] Valentine.
It's been awhile since I've done this, so I'ma 'splain things. This thread is, and always has been, what essentially boils down into a shout-out thread. But it's been tolerated by Mods and Admins as long as I can remember, so that means we've always played it safe. Which means that even though this is the End of the World Edition, it'd be great if you still follow the rules.
1. Open Thread, Request Valentine, Leave. Come in and say your piece, but don't hang around and keep posting while waiting for a response.
2. Do NOT talk about [adult swim] Valentine Club.
3. No whining, griping, complaining. Take that sad-sack lonely stuff somewhere else. In fact, no hating in general. Don't care that you think this is a ridiculous day made up by the greeting card companies or Lizard Men from Mars.
4. I don't even have to say it, everyone knows by now.
5. No Cyber! I mean, it's already against the rules of the boards, but since this is a thread that's in celebration of a holiday that's pretty much inspired by gettin' it on, I feel it must be stated again.
So, with that said, I'ma lay down my annual Valentine request.
