Honestly, I don't get the filter sometimes, it is almost as if Turner Legal wants people to learn obscure 1950-1970's racial slurs.

Edit : so, apparently the singular word for s.ob plural form isn't filtered.

I'm kind of surprised that Humbug didn't just use the master control override and make the Con guest screen names.
I do think it is silly though, a lot of time over something hidden that people would have to actually take time to find.

An admin explained the SN registry filter like this:

I assume you're talking about this post.

First, click the tag. You get this page.

Look at the URL of the page and delete everything after /tg-p/, press enter, and you should be at this page where you see all the users who have ever placed that tag.

Looks like there are three possible taggers. Now time for some investigative work. Open up all three of those profiles in new tabs. Tagging messages is shown in the user's activity feed. Press Ctrl-F and search for the name of the post that was tagged. In this case, I typed in "so there's this" to find it. You should be able to click the link and be directed to your tagged post.

It turns out the mystery tagger is noobull!

Not to sound like Will Smith or anything, but...... okay, here's the situation, my parents went away on a week's vacation, and they left the keys to the brand new Porsche.....

Being the rank junkie that I am, I would like to confirm a few minimum stats for the rank chart.

Those stats are: 800 minutes online for SwimHipster, and 1600 minutes online for SwimSuperfan.

However, this would mean that I would have to accumulate 1001 and 2293 posts, respectively, before hitting those benchmarks.

When it comes down to it, I can't post like that (in the regular sense), in fact, few people can. Those people probably won't stop posting in time either.

However, I have devised a way to accomplish this, and I can do it all within one thread. The problem is that I am going to have to rapid-fire post multiple times (60 at a time, and they will all be on topic) in order to accomplish the feat. I can put this thread in a more-or-less dead folder (that folder will be Look Around You, where the thread is "loosely" related to an episode of the show) to minimize the impact on the other users.

So, what I would like is some sort of mod blessing before I start this.

Aww but... you're not a mod... and no mod replied either.  My point is I want to know if it is okay for me to make the thread and post the links to the videos.  There's been more commercials I'd like to discuss.  This commercial thread would have been better going up right after the SuperBowl, but I digress. 

There's a new Valentine's commercials whose message is basically "Buy your girlfriend this giant 99 dollar teddy bear and get laid! *WINK*".  Those fools!  Don't they realize women can see these commercials, too?! 

That's basically what I'd be doing in the thread.  But again, it's all for naught if I can't post the videos.  I don't expect everyone to have seen the commercials to know what I'm talking about, or take the effort to look them up.  Plus, sometimes you can talk about something and people might misunderstand it, so I really need to be able to link to the videos.

The guy had a Head Captain Yamamoto icon, too.  I swear I am not making this up.  It was something I noticed when I read through the entirety of the Bleach General Discussion thread a while back.  Then again, that guy isn't around today, so maybe he already got banned years ago, I dunno'.

Hardee har har.  I wasn't being completely serious with all of this post, but I figured as long as I had the mods' attention (or so I thought), I'd ask and see if they'd let any info drop on the new Anime and/or InuYasha situation.  But meh, fair enough, I guess.  Your reply was pretty funny, for whatever it's worth.

Edit - Actually, I'm somewhat conflicted.  While I did want some mod responses so I could figure out if my thread idea was kosher, and also about that other stuff, I was a bit embarrassed by that schlocky post of mine, as well some other bad posts I made that day, and wasn't thrilled to see the responses, which is partially why I took another short break.  Perhaps I should count my blessings it was mostly ignored, haha.

I believe a Mod did reply of sort by replying to Jingai that he had basically answered all correctly. In short, you aren't advertising for the things you'll be discussing so it doesn't count as something like ad spam. It's more like saying "Hey, remember this? Now with Moving Pictures to jog your memory!"

An aside to that gods awful teddy bear commercial - I see something like that outside my door, I'm grabbing a sword and going on the war path. F-ing HATE teddy bears! GARR!!1!
