dunno what this means "I want my rank" does that mean you want to post choices, or does that mean you want to be deknighted?

everybody else has posted their choices in Sealab folder.

only just opened it up, the users that joined after it was opened are only now getting to the level they have to make these choices.

so once again, you are being paranoid.

I think I sent out 1 PM once, and then decided it would just be extra steps, since most players were just posting it on the board.

So no, everybody else isn't doing it via PM.

I think one user one time told me their home folder selection via PM.

Every single other player has posted their choices on the board.

Forgot to mention in this thread, whenever knights submit icons/avatars in the icon submission event (Avatarnival!) they'll get big beefy xp!

Also there is a "secret character" in each folder, if a Knight submits an icon of that character, they will receive a Swim Stone for that folder which will convey an xp bonus for all posts & events in that folder, plus each Swim Stone has other unrevealed powers!

As a Yeoman, I would like to declare a home folder in 12 Oz Mouse.

As an aside, where can I find the list of characters who I can squire for once I reach that level? 12 Oz Mouse has many characters, I'm not sure how many would be considered "main characters."

K on 12 Oz.  Really, yeah there are a lot of characters, I would say - go ahead and just chose one.  Odds are it'll be alright.

sort of.  depending on what you call a syndicate etc.

I would expect factions aren't quite as important with this few players as they would be if there were a lot of players.

What I envisioned for the game, as it progresses, was that those would become more important.  Both your home folder and who you're squiring for/what "house" you belong to.

Besides the little games, I actually would like to try some things like "invasions".  Like, not just the monster type combats, but also outside entities attacking "keeps" and like that.

And then beyond that, yeah eventually groups of players could establish their own "shops" or ways to sell items themselves, or attempt to influence outcomes of various things going on as groups.

So, if things progress, that's probably the direction they'll progress in.

The trick is not to overwhelm any regular type discussions with Knights hijinx (IE try to keep the Knights stuff to the Knights threads), and also to keep it autonomous between players (IE - players pretty much have to agree to participate in something for it to happen, like a player will never be able to just attack another player, or steal from another player etc).

I don't want to see it develop into a thing where it becomes a way for players to resent each other or add to board drama.

There can still be competition, and even direct combat under the right circumstances.  But want to keep it controlled/voluntary on all players' part.  So one player could never just do something to another without their consent or participation or something like that.
