OKAY HERE GOES. *deep breath* so i have this sylvania brand dvd/vhs combo that's always been kinda cruddy... one day the dvd player just quit working on me.then i continued to try to play every dvd i had... nothing worked... till i popped in a porno.... some how the certain type of disc that it was on made it easier for the dvd player to read it..... so then i tried getting the reader in motion (or jump-started) by popping in the smut film for only a moment... after that process a single (non smut) dvd would play for the entire length.. but you had to do that again for each disc to prime up the reader eye of the dvd... it happened all too often.. so i gave the process a name the PORNOJUMPSTART. a true story.

 Part of the deal with them having such a distinctive rank though is that they

are supposed to be kind of visible. The idea is that they are really visible

and "guiding" discussion and activity on the show folders in specific and

the boards in general. If they were lurking on alts like SwimRobert, it would

defeat the purpose of them being so highly visible.

  If you see something that anyone, helper or no, is doing that you feel

is disruptive, demeaning, harmful or generally jerktacular in nature, you

should report it. No one is going to say, "PJS is a giant mega-NARC." if

you let the Mods know about things they should know about.

  Never discount the ability of regular users to do things as well. All it takes

is a well thought out idea, the willingness to follow through carefully, a PM

and a lot of patience. You'd be surprised what that combination can achieve,

and many of the Helpers here are very receptive and responsive people.
