If you think I'm just going to try to use some picture of nudity from the show then I'm incredibly offended that you think I'm that much of an idiot, I'm hoping to be able to use my amazon.com or my kongregate.com avatar. However there is one other pic that i would like to use but i can't seem to find it again, it's a shame because it was really cool looking.
Wait so is there any way to use a fanpic or something? Also, it's kinda strange that amazon or kongregate don't have this problem and Adult Swim does. Oh and if I can't use anything from Elfen Lied, would there be any problems with using something from the Warhammer 40k universe? Like a Necron or Space Marine?
You basically need to show that you have permission to use the icon.

Judging from those guidelines I am (to put it bluntly) S.O.L. because I don't have the time available to make a fanpic. I know where to find a really good fanpic, but I have no idea how contact the owner of it, just like i can't contact ADV films for permission to use a picture as a forum avatar. (since they are bankrupt) Personally, I think this is a load of crap, but I'm sure I'll get over the tragic loss of an epic avatar. I'm usin' a pic from Blood+ so at least I've got something decent still, it's a shame I can't use what I want (as far as I'm aware anyways, but I may be wrong) but like I said, I'm over it no biggie. Well thank you for the advice, it has been very helpful.
yea it's nice to have if you can get permission to use what you want and, as always, I have the wonderful luck of wanting to use something owned by a company that no longer exists. Hey do you think if I showed them a link to an Email from Lynn Okamoto, they would let me use the pic? Because I'm pretty sure that his E-mail address is hidden somewhere in the manga. Hmmmmmm, I just might do that lol.
