 i think american dad is just another soulless seth mcfarland (i dont care if i spelled it wrong) money grab and while more watchable then family guy, is pretty mediocore. tim and eric is at least original, usually it makes me sick so i try to avoid it but its definitley a more memorable and creative show then AD. but hey  the ratings are all that matter. the (stupid) people have spoken and they want thier lowest common denominator 6 nights a week.

Not saying you should like American Dad.. But Seth MacFarlane kicks ass and unlike Tim & Eric American Dad is ANIMATED!! AS used to be all animation.. T&E is just downright stupid sometimes But in defense of T&E there are a couple of episodes I laughed myself into tears watching!
