...specifically his mental health.

In more than one episode, he's seen himself in multiple places at once.

He has multiple personae that literally split from him and become their own people. He also has a vivid imagination and not-so-firm grasp on reality.

But is this a product of psychosis, and are all these split personae just internal dialogue, or is Roger some insanely hyper-intelligent psychic super-being that can will things into existence?

PS: I want this to be explored more on the show itself... Seems interesting to me.

That's why I was a little miffed about the responses.

I'm not being critical of the character, I'm just intrigued by how he has multiple personnae that exist outside of him.

I'm curious if people think it's a form of psychosis, or if these "splits" from Roger are indeed real. My suggestion that he might be suffering from some sort of psychosis wasn't an insult... Nor should it be seen as one.

Roger just "likes to pretend." I think that's all there is to it. I mean, he doesn't do anything else for entertainment, other than watch TV. He's gotta do something to keep busy.
