And if they let him go and someone find out they WERE hiding him in the past, the go to jail for treason. IT'S AN ALIEN.

And it shows how "Right Wing" he is. Not only is he working FOR the CIA and keeping secrets from American's, he has an alien, and is keeping secrets from the CIA. Double the Right Wing action.

As in a show perspective? Because Roger is that comedic relief in the show, he's the main character that pulls the punches of lines. I mean, just look at the amount of characters he pulls outta his butt! The humour is different to that of Stan's or Steve's, which is a nice contrast.

The real question should be "why does Rodger stay" lol...Because frankly I hate Stan. In fact I only hate Stan. He is the worst character. If anything Rodger should kill Stan in an episode. Similar to the "Stewie kills Loius" episode. That would make my day.

What I'd like to know is why they keep Seth MacFarlane around, he's ruining the show.  Season 7 is total garbage after he disowned the fans that made it popular in the first place.  Seasons 2 threw 6 were pretty great, especially 6.  However, when they let that hack Cee Lo Green in on the action is when it started going down hill and the stink from MacFarlane's cheesy comedic stylings became apparent.  However, getting back to my point, how dare he claim the reason we like it is because we prefer a sense of "realism" in our animation, not true we just don't like MacFarlane and it was obvious he wasn't working on it at the time.

Roger is hilarious, and Stan thinks so which is why he keeps him around.

He gets mad at him sure, but he showed that he'd miss his shenanigans if he was gone.
