I kinda stopped watching [as] for like a year or so and now I see this show on? Did it replace ATHF? I know its them really solving crimes now but...what's up? What happened?

They revamped ATHF by giving it a new intro and changing the name to AUPS1 and moving the show to Settle. Content wise, nothing changed

The show needed a little facelift, titlewise after 10 years, & they moved it to Seattle since Jersey has been gettin' a bad rap lately (corrupt politicians & a dumb reality show on MTV)

I wondered why they had changed it from ATHF to AUPS1. It still works as a show, it's not missing anything at all. **beast** the only way I can watch it is online, lousy UK channels don't air AS anymore :/

old shows go through this kind of thing. Instead of trying to power through it and risk becoming stale (ala new Futurama, Family Guy, Simpsons), they chose to embrace it and intentionally go baroque. First time I've ever seen that approach, seems to be working fine.
