Slaughter House-Five (Shame on you if you havnt read)

Mice And Men (Same as Slaughter House-Five)

I would read SHF because of the way its wrighten. I would read Of Mice And Men because its just one of the best dam.n books I have ever read.

I seen alittle bit. About a hour of it. I would rather read the book though that is the only movie I have seen that is accurate to the book. I know why you read them seven years ago, because you where in high school right? I think I could read both a number of times. Grapes Of Wrath and Breakfast Of Champions (both by the same author of SH5 and OMAM) Are two long but good ones too.

Aldous Huxley-The doors of Perception   and  Heaven and Hell ...2 books condensed into one book...how fun.
The Cosmic Trigger- Robert A Wilson.  Judging from these books I probably look like a drugged up, paranoid, hippie, conspiracy theorist....but I am not.... I just like to read, and these happen to be the only books I was able to borrow from a friend, who happens to fit in the category earlier stated.

Have you read Brave New World? It's the book most people associate Huxley with. I haven't read it. I'm sure it will be great, but if you (or someone else) has read it, I'd like to know if it's worth buying. Like I said before, I like reading, but money is kinda tight and I don't want to buy something unless I know I will enjoy it. I've been borrowing books from everyone I know, and I don't think anyone has BNW.

Dragon Wing - Weis and Hickman
Day of the Dragon - Richard A. Knaak
Lord of the Clans - Christie Golden

Obviously I haven't read much in the past year. I just started The Hitchhikers Guid to the Galaxy(Douglas Adams) and a book of HP Lovecraft stories. I've also been reading Quicksilver(Neal Stephenson) off and on.

I am going to start Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk.  Everyone and their mother's uncle is talking about how wonderful Mr. Palahniuk books are.. so I want to see what all the fuss is about.  And no I haven't seen the movie.  I'll watch it after I read the book.

Got the movie and have seen it but haven't read the book, need to though got so many books I want to read. When you do see Fight Club let me know which one you like better, most of the time the book is better than the movie.

Just wanted to let you know that I finished reading Fight Club-Chuck Palahniuk.  I started reading it last night in bed.  After a while my eyes started to sag with how tired I was but I couldn't put the book down.  I kept saying to myself..just one more chapter and I'll go to bed.  Before I knew it I had 30 pages left to read.  So I finished it at 4am.  It's a very good book.  This is actually one of the few books I have read that has lived up to all the hype.  While reading it I kept thinking that it was a cross between American Psycho-Bret Easton Ellis and A Clockwork Orange-Anthony Burgess.  Very disturbing read, yet thrilling. I recommend it!!  I now want to see the movie to see how close it comes to the book.  I think I am going to go over to Blockbuster later tonight and see if they have it.

I'm nearly finished with Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard (Around 870 or 880 something of the 1000 something pages).

Before that I read the first three Dark Towers by Stephen King, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass (And Wasp and the Wig), and some other stuff I cant remember at the moment.

Ah, yes, I remember now. My friend had me reading Eragon after I had finished Red Rabbit (Tom Clancy).
