But seriously, the amount of adoration women beaters receive in our society is absolutely revolting. We forgive and forget far too easily and as a result we make it okay for anyone to fuuuuuudge up and be given second chances. But what happens when you give too many second chances for too many people? Bedlam.

It's not all of them. I was hit by a man before and it wasn't to the extent of what Rihanna suffered. Still, his whole family shunned him, he lost friends and had a hard time keeping relationships with other women. Dude still ain't got no one.

I'm not a big fan of his music. I think it's generic, tepid dancefloor R&B schlock at best.

There are many far better R&B artists out there than this Bobby Brown lite.

As for him...whatever.  I still listen to his music sometimes.  But I'm sure if I were to take a hard look at the artists I listen to, I could find equally deplorable actions in their past.  And from what it sounds like, Rhianna already started to forgive him (not positive, don't follow tabloids).  I suppose if he did it again, that's when everyone would turn on him for good.  Besides the people that like beating women or really hate Rhianna.

But I'm talking about the public in general. It's not a good role model for children and future generations of children when older fans so easily forgive jerks like Chris Brown. But yes, personally, there will always be retribution to be had if you beat women and Chris Brown's personal life has become a wasteland..which is well justified considering the person of Chris Brown's nature.

Nope.  But I can't bring myself to care all that much if the victim has decided to put it behind them/forgive them/whatever it is she's done.

Hey, I like pop music. But I'm very discerning when it comes to the pop music that I enjoy. And I can honestly say that for the past 10 years the pop music just hasn't been as good as the 90's pop music. And I do love me some 90's pop.
