You do realize there are old people who like anime right? Not everybody who goes to cons just likes to look @ your legs in your Japanese schoolgirl outfit with the kneehigh stockings....
Considering the median age of Americans is like 37 last I checked, meaning half of Americans are older than 37 I'd say maybe we should be skewing it upwards. Cons aren't just for teenagers.

If she has great legs & the looks -- no. If shes fat & fug or just dumpy looking, well, don't look @ her. Plenty of fug ass women I saw @ AX this year. Glad I didn't give a second look either...
There are plenty of 300 lb teenagers who look rancid in risque anime outfits....

Who says older women can't cosplay? And what? Are you supposed to stop looking hot @ 25?

Droopy. And she is laid out in the sun too much as a youth, so she is extraordinarily wrinkly.
Howabout now?

No. Last I checked there were no maximum age limits on having fun. There are people who try to make me feel childish for liking some of the things I like, but they're all **beast** whose idea of maturity is being a dull, bitter crank who watches tv in their spare time and who are jealous that other people don't put such stupid limits on themselves and are actually having enjoyable times doing fun things. Chicks can be the worst about this sort of thing; one of my stock first date plans is miniature golf or something along those lines, competitive kinda goofy and childish but fun and with an increased chance of physical contact compared to other first date ideas, because if a girl is too **beast** full of herself to actually play a little Putt Putt or some other game and have fun doing so, then what use is she to me? None whatsoever.

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”
