Get fisted.
you silly child.
i handle firearms too.
and you are all talking about them like they are fun little toys.
most of these people dont seem to have a concept of what a gun is or what it would do to a person if they were on the wrong end.
when was the last time you saw metal rip through a person, if ever?
dont forget that thought when you are playing with them.
go ahead, enjoy your firearms, be proud of your care for them, and your skill with them.
you are guaranteed your right to them by the second amendment, and we are probably safer overall as a result.
but dont ever forget what they are for and what they can do.
i will take that fisting now please.

I know exactly what firearms can do, which is why I've never pointed them--loaded or unloaded--at anyone. I hope that never has to happen. And I'm sorry if my response was overdefensive, I'm just f--king tired of being hectored on the internet by brainless gun control nannies who advocate the total ban of firearms from private hands because unlicenced bottom-feeding criminals have this nasty habit of using them on each other.

you should also probably keep that quick temper and thinly veiled hate in mind as well then.
though it seems like you already know that.
and i will be waiting for that fisting.

An excellent rifle. I'll start including some WWII firearms soon.
H&K G36 (again, might want to mute it)
The only firearm I personally own is a Makarov pistol, which is a good substitute for a Colt 45.
The Russians can't run a country but they sure as hell can make cheap, reliable firearms.

I like the TT33 Tokarev a lot. Got to handle one recently and was amazed by how Colt/Browning-like they feel. Excellent accuracy, and the 7.62 mm has surprisingly good punch for a smaller round.

I actually don't like the feel of a Colt 45, as much as I respect its design and firepower. It always seems to want to tip forward. The Makarov has a much more balanced feel to it, at least to someone who doesn't have enormous hands.

I think you've got to realize that there's another extreme, which is the insane backwoods idiots who are against any restriction or licensing whatsoever. That, I just don't get.

Time for pistol/PDW/submachine guns.
My favorite. I don't care if it's a big bulky mofo, from an accuracy and feel perspective it's probably the best sidearm I've ever fired.

Browning High Power (Mk 1 model)
If I was in charge the US Army would be using the Mk III Browning and not the Beretta M9.

A classic that hasn't changed much in close to a century, and for good reason. This is the benchmark as far as I'm concerned.

This looks like fun, .22LR submachine gun with virtually no recoil and 150+ round drum that reminds me of a old Lewis Gun.

No, I don't drive an oxidized Confederate-emblazened pickup with a rack in the rear window. Yes, my hammer size is perfectly adequate, thanks (ask your mother).
Anyway I'll start with my favorite assault rifle of all time:
If you have an opinion at all about anything on earth, you discriminate. Better accept that fact now...

Read a little more carefully.
I do not discriminate by manufacturer, combat role, function, caliber, type, amount of dakka etc.
That's not the same as saying "I don't have an opinion." Just that I don't base my opinion of a weapon solely on those factors, and that I don't really care what kind of firearms are posted in this thread.

Very rare Italian submachine gun from the mid-80s, so I couldn't find a vid for it. Love the overall design, apparently its performance is closer to an automatic carbine than an SMG.

It's a little bulky but it's a good CCW, the laser sight is an old model but dead on accurate and easy to reach.
with Murray's anti-slamfire firing pin and USA made trigger set.
Fully 922R compliant.
got it 12 years ago for $50 and it's really reliable.

Very nice. Never seen a Colt Commander before, are the mags still 7 rounds?
Don't know why I haven't included the Simonov SKS yet, to be honest. One of the best values out there for a semi-automatic rifle, and reliable to boot.
