we had some a few years ago cause i was being lazy and we passed it on the way home. ugh. never again. it's so gross. and it made my hands puffy from all of the sodium.

I do eat onions but I'm really picky about them. They have to be prepped or cooked a certain way or they're revolting. They can be very very good complimenting certain dishes but do them wrong & you botch the whole dish.

Nah, I'll kill my own mudbugs, but I've heard good things.........KFC is just to inconsistent.......One day the skin will fall off the bird, next time it's like it's been sitting there since yesterday, and the grilled is often dry.

i stopped there on the way home a few times for my fast food lovin' inlaws when i used to commute. the food is so greasy and artificial tasting, and their allegedly spicy stuff has all the intensity of black pepper.


i like chick fil a's food much more, but i never looked into their political ties. i feel compelled to check now.

I don't because their prices are too high. For 3 pieces of chicken and a biscuit, I could just go to an all you can eat buffet :\

I think the last time I ate there was probably the year they introduced their "grilled" chicken and Oprah was giving it away and people got crazy. But after a while, it was just as gross as their soggy fried chicken. Besides, my cooking is better, so yeah. I don't have any plans on going back anytime soon.

Chicken was both hard and greasy simultaneously, mashed potatoes were underwhelming. Don't see myself going back any time soon.

Tried Popeye's for the first time a few days later. Not sure if it was just the factor of KFC having been a poor experience, but Popeye's was notably better than expected.

I wish there was one I didn't have to go out of my way to get to, the closest is on a infrequent busline that I rarely need to use (another bus goes to the same place, but uses a more populated route and thusly get much better scheduling) and I don't drive.

The solitary time I went, it was some of the better chicken I've had in recent memory.

Other than Cheesecake Factory wings. Those were "Holy ####" good, but that's not really fast food, either.

I still go to chik-fil-a too.  I feel a little piece of me dying each time, but, it's soooo worth it.

Actually, we have Knott's Berry Farm for fried chicken around here that's ten times better than any fast food chicken, but Walter Knott was an avowed member of the John Birch Society.

So, basically, getting good chicken means entering a pact with satan.

we don't have any popeyes close by. we rarely ever eat out anymore cause there's just so few restaurants in our area. there's a few fast food places and lots of pizza places, but i don't really eat fast food and pizza gets old. the only thing i miss about living in the city is the access to all of the restaurants.
