oh that's just dumb. Why don't they drop one of the other competitions, like fencing? All this because someone wants to try to add golf as the new sport?
Just as bad is the idea that wrestling gets bumped into the wild card category on what they decide to just barely wave in... and what's included in its competition? "Roller sport." No, no, no, no, no. We do not dump wrestling for inline skating.

The IOC dropping wrestling to make room for Golf = Gay.

Maybe it was the region I grew up in but I don't think there was a single school within a 200 mile radius that had a wrestling program. It must be on of those weird ass MIN-NUH-SOH-TUH DONTCHA KNOW midwestern sports.
I always thought there was something homoerotic about feeling up other men like that. The WWF type crap is all theatrics but these ppl take serious what is basically judo w/o the machoness & with all this feely-touchy crap.

The likely reason that they are doing this is because how easy it is to bias calls as a referee. The sport was completely arbitrary and not based on skill at all. It was biased to an extreme that IOC had to drop it to signal that the leaders in the sport needed to get their #### together.
