...Pond scum is already life. Its algea.
And no where in teh curriculum does it say "without a higher power", because that would be making a comment on the super natural. It simply makes no refence to a higher power. Its like saying Gravity is excluding a higher power. "And without the help of a higher power, all of matter is drawn towards larger bodies by an invisible and intangible force". Does gravity say that? No. It just offers an explanation based on the natural world using the evidence available to it. Just because this can work without a higher power doesn't mean it is actively excluding a higher power.
Nothing sprouted into everything may be unproven (which is why it isn't taught until you reach VERY high levels in Physics, to the point where you can study the subject), but many physicists would argue the idea may have a scientific backing, and they have many pages of complicated math that makes my brain ache to demonstrate that.
...BANG.

Great read. It bothers me how much they jump to her defense- even when the defense is pretty poor. "Do those EXACT WORDS show up? No. That was her point! That while everything people say about the Seperation of Church and State is true, THOSE WORDS aren't actually in the constitution in that EXACT way."
Oh, and I LOVE that "mice with fully functional human brains" bit. Does anyone else think there's a good chance she actually confused Pink and the Brain with real life?
...BANG.

It actually happened yesterday.
WILMINGTON, Del. — Republican Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell of Delaware on Tuesday questioned whether the Constitution calls for a separation of church and state, appearing to disagree or not know that the First Amendment bars the government from establishing religion.
no, it really did happen this morning.
You guys can't be serious right now!
I am talking about the world as a whole knowing Rosie O'Donnell is a Dumb guy!
