Babbling

As I was going outside to check on my dog I hear this loud crash and screaming and more crashing and more screaming.  I thought a driver was assaulting another driver with their car.  I ran outside ready to shoot somebody.

Turns out it was a car coming through an intersection and some dumb ass turned in front of him.  This old lady in a Lexus coupe got fuked up.  She's all bleeding from the head.

The guy that banged her is having a mental breakdown, screaming and writhing on the ground.  I think he thinks he killed her.

I don't know what else is going on cause i came in here to type this.

I'm going to be late for work.

I was ready.  Boyfriends be assaulting their girlfriends on a weekly basis in front of my house.  It's a busy thoroughfare.

I was ready to hold somebody there just in case they tried to flee.

No I didn't call 911.  I started dialing but I hung up because other people were already on the phone and I didn't want to tie up the lines.

This no snitching thing is garbage. I hear someone getting the crap beat out of them next door, I'm on the phone. Hell, I'm standing in the hallway on the phone talking to dispatch so the bigshot abuser knows dang well he's busted and knows that there's at least one person on the floor who isn't going to play dumb.

It wasn't to honor the no snitching code, it just all happened so fast, within less than a minute, and then everyone involved was completely gone.

Plus it was like ten at night

and I don't know.

Well, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be friendly to a tourist standing on the corner taking pictures. But my brother has a few college classmates from the island, so when we're there we're usually off the beaten path looking for local hangouts they tell him about.

I don't live in the ghetto ghetto.  I don't think the people in my neighborhood would give you problems.  I actually live at the base of a volcano memorial so old people ask me how to get to the memorial all the time.

Yeah, unless I'm actually witnessing it, it's really hard for me to call the Po-leese.

I'm not the best one to ask.  I don't trust the po po any more than you do.  You don't really call 911 unless you're looking for a paramedic or there's like someone barricading themselves in the house across the street.
