It wasn't that.  Zimmerman had stated that he was beaten by Trayvon.  Some video has recently surfaced.  The video shows the police escorting Zimmerman and that was filmed just moments after the alleged beating.  The video shows no sign of Zimmerman having been beaten in the manner he describes.  Not a welt, cut or bruise on him. 

So, the implication here is that some cops are in on his lie and cover up.  Get it? 

You think this isn't being investigated by other law enforcement agencies?  Stay tuned.  You'll see Zimmerman and whoever helped him lie go down all at once when the investigation is through.

i'm assuming you aren't latina or latino, right? i assume you've never lived in san juan like i have, right? if you trace back on some puerto rican's lineage you could find out they are white latina/o or black latina/o. yes, the majority of puerto rico consider themselves white, but if you really want to get technical most puerto ricans consider theirselves to be mestizo which is white and native american. puerto rican blood is a mix of several things, but definitely isn't white. if you look up the natives to puerto rico you will realize how unwhite they are. back in 1509 they did believe in intermarriage. just ask pedro mejias.

Yeah, but it shouldn't harm the case against him, since various sources have already given the entire quote in context. They should find whoever on the Today Show edited the tape this way and fire that person, and issue an apology.

See, this is the kind of information that needs to be coming out.  I doesn't change the basic fact that Zimmerman had a gun and the person he pursued did not.  But dehumanizing Zimmerman is not constructive.

The problem is the entire jury pool has been tainted by... Lets call it.. Questionable media coverage.

That absolutely will be brought up in trial the mother has already copy righted her sons name this is going for the long run.. Suit and counter suit..

Did much more than dehumanize zimmerman not to take away from the end result a boy dead the original picture the media painted of him was way off.

Not to mention all of the celebrity attention this has gotten.. Giving out home addresses of innocent people putting out bounty's on Zimmermann head.. And the list continues..

The entire thing has been over hyped for attention ####'s and handled very poorly by the police there.

Watch as information on the trayvon martin shooting takes a back seat and the misinformation that was put out is quietly ignored as new news replaces old..

That's an exaggeration. A case this high profile will only garner more scrutiny, not less, and other similar high profile cases (Casey Anthony?) were far more one-sided and still ended up with no conviction.

And, blame the media all you want, but they were only feeding off of what the general public was feeling and abusing that. The cops should have arrested the guy and left it at that, then the story would have died and justice would have run its course. I'm not defending the abdominal reporting that has happened, but that doesn't mean the coverage wouldn't have still been damaging if the truth had been reported.

This is a bad situation. Anytime an unarmed man is killed by an armed person, there is a problem. Compound it by the fact that the armed person approached the unarmed one and you have more than enough cause for a full fledged investigation. #### at the media for how they conflated it, but don't pin Zimmerman's misfortune on them - he was already screwed.

The fact that everyone, including me, are arguing over something we have little-to-no detail about and we are missing some key information to determine the cause of this situation. In that time a grainy video came out that lacked detail, and everyone heralded the Bigfootesque quality video as proof positive that Zimmerman had no injuries. Well, today it came out that the video has been digitally enhanced, and it does show injuries. Again, I'm staying out of this until more information comes forward on how the altercation started, but I thought I would post this simply because nobody had bothered to.

It very well could be. Somebody may have something they want to prove, or just troll. However, the video enhancement was done by a professional company.

I had seen the original and I was starting to sway back to the side that this kid was killed in cold blood, but I decided to wait. Looks like I'll be waiting a long time to see what actually happened, if we can even get the full story.
