What handout? This is about employers not allowing insurance THAT THE EMPLOYEES PAY INTO to pay for contraception. And you ARE getting something: less people on welfare. Didn't think about that, did you?

 First of all, the internet doesn't need more bad amateur porn.

  The interesting thing about her testimony is that it doesn't really make sense when you examine it more closely.

That is why I included a link to her actual testimony, in order to ensure accuracy. She asserted that students at Georgetown

were suffering financial hardship due to a lack of contraception coverage. There are a few questions about that which come to mind. First, Georgetown is roughly 40k a year for law school. Even on public scholarships, that is still a lot of money,

next to which one thousand dollars a year seems comparatively small as a source of financial burden.

Second, planned parenthood seems to have no difficulty in obtaining or distributing contraception,* and they do so at

a rate much lower than the thousand dollars a year which Ms. Fluke quoted. Surely this must be a fluke. Third, there are

several pharmacies withing walking distance of Georgetown which offer contraceptive over the counter products. Figuring a cost of roughly one dollar per device, a thousand dollars of coverage a year would equate to two devices per day, with a hat trick once a week. Finally, for those who are interested, the District of Columbia Department of Health will distribute, free of charge, condoms and lubricant.
