Babbling

I don't know if anyone got anything out of my political threads, but thanks for playing along if it was all just a joke to you.  I honestly just wanted to experiment witih babbling's politics and see if my opinions would change the level of debate and if I could learn something from opposing viewpoints.  I did learn a couple things so that's good.  There are always things to learn from those who think opposite to you, never let yourself think otherwise.  They might be more wrong than you on some issues, but rarely do you come across a person who is entirely wrong, sometimes they are more correct in a particular opinion, and the nature of the dialectic process is that people who become too enamored with their success fail to realize their own weakness.

I think I will pursue a career in politics now  

I don't mean this as a farewell post, just a farewell to politics here.  Now I think I just want to treat this place as somewhere to have fun.  Laughter is what matters, enjoying life is what matters, you can't just be obsessed with problems and never get any enjoyment out of life.  I can't anyways and I recommend other people don't try that either.

Please stick around. I like your posts. That being said I completely agree -- I've been diverging off into stupid #### like gossip & entertainment because its fun.

You don't have to think everyday about the economy collapsing into a sea of anarchy. Do yourself a favor -- unless you plan on working as some sort of congressional aid or in some capacity as a federal employee -- do NOT go into politics. Poly sci majors end up @ Waffle House frying my hashbrowns or @ Wal Mart stocking my food.

Unless you know exactly where you wanna go & u KNOW for sure you have a permanent job in some federal bureaucracy -- don't try it.
