Go get a pair of your son's socks and toss them at him, but do it like you're tossing a grenade and then hide behind a door or the couch.  Kids love crazy parents who do random and bizarre things.

Say aloud(to not single him out) to nobody in particular, "Geeze, somebodies feet are stink'n."
There is a good chance that the guest will smell his own feet and discretely do something about it.

In a related story, I've known a tall woman since 4th grade. She was the only one from my elementary school who went to the same high school as me.

We use to play a lot of card games during class and I started to notice a smell that was coming from her. At first, I thought she had a rank'n vagoo. She looked like the type, honestly. Took me a while to realize that it was her feet that smelled.

People use to call her Jolly Green Giant and is now married to a guy people at school called shovel face/bitter beer face.
