In *Virginia, Republicans want to jam a wand up your vag before you're allowed to get an abortion.
That's even more disgusting than the GOP's technorapey law Virginia just shelved, or their one in Texas and eight other states that forces all women seeking abortions to get sonograms beforehand to I guess guilt them into changing their minds once they realize that those cells they're getting pumped out of their stomach have the potential to be a baby in nine months(!).
Oh, no GOP war on women, though. That's hyperbole.

That would be preferable. Because if you get close enough to hit me I can hit back.
But hiding behind your white pulpit on the hill, enacting your misogynistic legislation, protected by the shield of Faux News and other militant right wing pawns, it's a little harder to fight back.

1) why does anyone still listen to rush? as a conservative, i gave up on rush long ago. just like i gave up on keith olbermann as soon as he formed a political opinion. why does anyone listen to these guys? they don't make you smarter or more informed. they make you angry and spiteful. good way to live, man!
2) what's wrong with the county public health dept? don't they still do free contraception for women, sans insurance? i don't see why there's such a big uproar over requiring all these organizations, both religious and non, to require coverage for contraception. it's already been free for years, hell decades. my wife still gets the pill for free, and she comes home with a bag or rubbers too!
3) doctors should never be allowed to lie to a patient about medical conditions, never. if that legislation is legitimate, i will not support it.

Republicans in the Senate think your boss at Taco Bell should be able to decide what reproductive health services your insurance company offers you.
InSouth CarolinaVirginia, Republicans want to jam a wand up your vag to before you're allowed to get an abortion.
Now Arizona is going to make it legal for doctors to lie to their pregnant patients about the health of their fetuses. Yup, if your doctor thinks the information on your baby's birth defect might lead you to consider an abortion then it will be legal for him to lie to you about it.
Wow. You just figured this out? What with all the threads here in Babbling about those very subjects?

My only hope, is that somewhere in this string of abject idiocy and cultural tyranny, the real conservatives will finally jump ship.
And leave the socially stunted troglodytes to drown.

Honestly, if the government did its job *cough*fix public education *cough*, we wouldn't need something like Obamacare, et al.

If I were president, Healthcare would be more expensive than my heroin and prostitutes habit...which I would have developed if I were president.
I also would have made both gay marriage and medical marijuana mandatory for every red state citizen in the USA.

I still disagree with much of the conservative platform. Very much.
But unlike with the crazy, fundamentalist types, I don't leave those conversations feeling like my brain's been raped.
