I think open relationships should be called dating, if you get married you kinda promised youself to this other person, and that's how it should be imo.

I've never seen one work when it's labled as such, but fuck buddies can carry on for years........The dynamic isn't really much different, but without that nasty little R word involved it seems to be easier.

i think i experienced a form of this.

we weren't official yet and he was talking to other girls, but that's different i guess. it was unrequited at first...then he started caring in the same way.

i could never share, so i wouldn't expect my man to share me.

I'm ok with them as long as they're consensual. I tend to like them & not like them depending on the person I'm with @ the time. I dated one girl who insisted on doing it as she liked being with other guys. That lasted about half a year until I got scared she was gonna give me herpes.

It depends on the individuals involved. I think it can be great for people that are ready for it. It isn't for everyone, but from the polyamorous individuals I've talked to, it just makes sense for them.

I've had open relationships before....they're not really that bad. They're more or less fun and good for a fling....but, not great if you actually end up having feelings for the other person.
