Well, I'll give an example.

Back during my early days on this forum, I would catch a lot of flak in Babbling for cartoon threads even though it's a cartoon based forum. I wasn't breaking the rules with them, so there shouldn't have been a problem.

how does it violate freer speech? You are still allowed to post it (as long as it's within the TOS of the site)

the 1st amendment doesn't guarantee the right of not having anyone judge or ridicule what you say.

I'm refering to something way before then. There would be these people constantly ganging up on me/talking about their not liking me just because of my cartoon threads.

It sounds like you want special treatment for you, but not for anyone else.

People will disagree.

They will disagree with you and what you say.

Saying "I hate *Whatever is being talked about*" and following someone around giving them a hard time for talking about whatever it is are two different things.
