i just gotted scolded by a moderator who yelled at me for sending friends on dis board a link to my HILLARIOUS radio show. i thought our private messages were PRIVATE! but no! da moderators have #### all da fun out of dis place. no more sending links to videos i guess! cos dats ADVERTISING da video!

my radio show is non profit. for cryin out loud, i do it for fun, why cant i tell people about it? for years people on dis board have been doing dis, why is it all of a sudden so strict? moderators, you have two hours to apologize for invading our privacy. or there will be a spamathon.

Wasn't me and yes if someone reports a PM we can and do read the PM's to check for reported abuse.

Links may automatically get flagged.

Some sites do it to avoid legal trouble against illicit activity. Nothing terrible has ever happened here, and you can reason that as being a result to the form of moderation enforced here.

I hate reading my own PM's let alone other peoples. Only time i will look at someone else's PM's is if i get a report and then it's a serious pain in the rear.
