mental illness is a serious thing and you should ask a doctor for advice, not people in an internet forum

How about just asking if she's happy........If she says yes, then there is no need for you to rack your brain trying to cheer her up.......And so what.....She's batshit crazy........Who isn't from time to time.........If she's not physically abusing herself, it might all be for the lulz.......Since I don't know her I'm tossing daggers blindfolded.
I'm a voluntary schitzo.........Sometimes I just gotta be someone else.

eh yeah get her on medication and make sure she takes it. Therapy and a physiologist would help to.
Other then that just make sure you let her know you love her and be there for her. As bad as it is to be on your end, it's much worse on the other end trust me.

I haven't had a family member who was diagnosed with schizophrenia. But my best friend suddenly became bi-polar right before my eyes. It was scary because I thought he went crazy.
What I had to do was have his parents admit him into a hospital. They kept him for observation to see what type of disorder he had and then they prescribed him some Depakote. The medication worked but he said it made him feel stupid so he stopped taking it.
He actually stopped showing symptoms even though he had stopped taking his meds. Not everybody can do this. Most people have to take meds for the rest of their lives.
What you have to do is be PATIENT and understanding. Some people don't believe that they act crazy until they see proof. Talk with her about what she acts like when she's not taking her meds and when she is taking her meds.
Some people use film-footage of the person when they're not on their meds so that the person will see how they act when they're not on their meds. Footage sometimes convinces the person that they need help.

So, she hasnt' veen violent "lately" but she's capabel, and overall it's just a super scary thing. And she's only one goddamn year younger than me and I don't think it's for the luzl. I just edon't know to see my only sibling go crazy. she has valid points. My parents are crazy. But she and I are supposed to be tethered and chained and always were sane together. I just want to save her.

She suggested herself family therapy (which though is kind of fuuuuuudgeed up because only SHE needs it. I woke her up for her exam today hopeing she'd be better and instead she just launched right back into crazy, and listed all these problems she claims *I* have (depression, anger problems and wtfever) as a direct result of my parents not loving us. And said it was a cyle of their parents nto loving thiem (touchy subject, when I got angry). She told me to come back home on Monday and I'm pretty sure
Family therapy would help you cope with the outbreaks. If she is truly schizophrenic, should be hospitalized if she's having episodes this bad. At the very least, she should be on medication.

yeah it really sounds like she needs meds, it's for her own good.
But really get her to a doctor and see what they say.

Ah, then it's worse that I had thought.......Yeah, she needs a doctor.......I thought maybe it was the silly lashing outs that my sister does......It's for the attention, and I'm sure the revels in it afterwards........Her brand of crazy isn't legitimate........your sister's seems to be.
