It's been spring-like here for most of winter. I have the possibility for a garden but I hope to doubt that I'll be here when things come to maturity so I wouldn't bother. There's also almost nowhere I could move to where I could start a garden unless I go for one of those hanging contraptions.

got somewhere to dress for, got no need to stress for

same here. we didn't really have much of a winter. not that i'm complaining! when we lived in the city we did a container garden in our back yard. and i use the term loosely. it was about 7 ft by 8 ft back there. we used buckets and old milk ####, pretty much anything we could get our hands on, to plant things in. we couldn't grow any root veggies, but we grew lots of tomatoes and beans and peppers and things. i love to grow things. i want to plant flowers as well. i need to dig up the two beds in the back and buy some more flowers. i can't wait until everything turns green. there will be daffodils and tulips everywhere!

I'd rather not go into too much detail about my "garden."

I'm finally going to get to go home........ACES

Kaitlyn brought a wolf for me to fight, and refused to speak to me until I'd bested it in battle.
I did so, easily. Because there are three things that I'm the t!ts at: Barbecuing, Mega Man 2 and finding lupine pressure points.
I thought we'd mack a little after that, but she just laugh-cried manically over the wolf corpse until her face turned purple. Also, she was driving an Aztek and that's literally my only deal breaker.

I've been growing kohlrabi in the backyard for the past two years.
I want to try radishes though.

Or strawberries?

i did not plant any cauliflower, but i really should. i am planting strawberries as well. i am doing them in a pot though because the type i have tendency to take over. i am hoping that my raspberries and blackberries do well this year. we have a mulberry tree and an crabapple tree, too. crabapple jelly is pretty delicious. mmmmm mulberry pie. i can't wait for things to turn green again and start growing. we already have little purple flowers coming up and i see the tulip and daffodil greens starting to spout some green. it's always so exciting to see things grow.

I'm kind of forced to grow in pots... city living. Non the less, once you see little sprouts you know it's on.
And hope late frost won't kill them.

Do you have a greenhouse, Saddy?

sort of [that's what it looked like when we first moved in]. where i planted the seeds has all big glass windows. it's always warm in there even when it's bitter cold outside. it's also nice and humid thanks to the little pond in there. there's aloe and jade plants growing in there near the water.

We don't have a garden, but there is a lovely rosebush in the front of our house that blooms every spring :smileyhappy:

we have one in the front yard, too. i want to plant more flowers in the front yard but we are having a new front porch put on and i don't want to get in the way of the work going on. so next spring i will go crazy with planting flowers out front.

I'm in Portland, OR. My parents try to grow tomatoes, green peppers, egg plant, and a few others. We'll see how lucky they'll get with overhead clouds.

That's really cool. I'm guessing it's a part of the house and not a separate structure.

It was Spring yesterday.

This morning I swept Winter off my car with a broom, and it looks kind of like Autumn outside right now.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing Summer sometime tomorrow.

At least for a couple of hours.

i can't wait for summer. it has become my favorite season. we have so much fun in the summer. we have a fire pit on the other side of the basketball court [it's not any sort of formal court by any means, just a concrete slab with a hoop]. we sit around the fire, making s'mores with the kids then we jump in the pool and just float around, looking at the stars or watching the fireworks show in the woods. the fireflies put on a great show. spring is my second favorite now. i cannot wait until our magnolia tree starts to bloom. it's one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen.
