I say subs. For some reason its far easier to follow when I can read the subs and watch their lips

Dubs most of the time unless it's a really bad dub.

Depends. Some dubs are so well done, I think of the dub as the anime. (Steve Blum as Spike Spiegel is Cowboy Bebop, for example.) I've also seen dubs that are so horrible, I can other watch the subbed version.

depends on how lazy I am and how good the dubs are. I can watch either, but if I start a show with subs (or dubs) I have to finish it that way other wise the new voices really bug me.

cg will only watch dubs though because she says having to read the subtitles prevents her from being able to look at the art and action as much which is a good point.

It varies depending on the show and the quality of the voice acting...

I watch more subs, but there's some shows that I can only enjoy dubbed, like Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop...

I do dubs because I find it easier to get interested in the characters when you have a voice you understand.

The one exception I have is Tekkaman Blade, because an unedited dub does not exist.

Dubs. Far easier to follow something in my native language than trying to read and follow the action at the same time.

Depends on the series.

Things like Cowboy Bebop or FLCL I'll go with the dub every time, but One Piece? The Japanese voices all fit the characters so well, I can't think of any other VA's taking their place.

And I'm biased too. In college, I ate Subway so much because it was inexpensive that it's disgusting to me now. No more, no more...

Subs if I'm watching porn, and dubs for everything else.

Subs, most of the time. I like hearing the original language, and the English voice acting can be awful. There are movies with English voice overs that I don't mind but yea...subs!

You know what? I just realized this thread wasn't in OA. So, I'll just add that I'll always take live action movies with subs.

Bad lip synching just ruins everything.
