i dont think people should be censored. it helps us all know what they are thinking, and gives us a chance to hear that persons point of view and possibly show them a better one. the challenge is not letting opinions you dont agree with upset you AND also, the person with that opinion, must be able to eloquently and respectfully say why they feel that way. if they dont have anything behind it but negativity and hate - then at that point, their opinion no longer needs to be shared

all in all.. its just as harmful to censor as it is to have hateful discrimatory opinions... so if u are racist, you da mn well better have good reason. *shrug*

I don't agree with the policy, but I think we should all kind of consider what this place was originally meant to be - a place to discuss [adult swim] related things. The range of topics naturally evolve over a larger course as time goes on, but it's not an easy thing to amend policy in a way that allows for broader discussions without changing the original scope.
