The film came out last year, it was kind of either a parody of old 70's blaxploitation films.

Doesn't look like action to me. At least not any more than the Boondocks. Just looks like more hopelessly racist blaxploitation that I won't be watching. Like The Boondocks. Freaknik was fresh and fun the first time, but I wouldn't pay for it.

If you can't see what's racist about The Boondocks then absolutely no amount of my trying to explain it to you will have any effect whatsoever.

Let's not turn this into an "is it racist?" thread like every other Boondocks/Freaknik thread that's ever been started. The answer is yes. But that doesn't mean it can't be funny. I found it funny for the first couple of episodes, then lost interest.

I see future precursor to the anime lineup in this! But [as] should also show the live-action movie one night on Friday night. I'm not normally a fan of live action on [as], but if there's a cartoon tie-in, it's not too bad...

I can see this happening, too. Then again, they replaced The Boondocks with American Dad even though it was doing extremely well in that 11:30 Saturday slot, so I really can't say what [as] might plan to do with it.
