Yes, in the English dub, he is nicknamed "Mr. Hat and Clogs" (as he is in the manga).

In the Japanese version, Ichigo refers to him as "Geta-boshi" though, which literally means "Sandal-hat".

Yes, this thread is for the English dub (seeing as that's what airs on the TV here).

As I noted in the FAQ though, localizations sometimes change little nicknames/titles like that. And since I wrote the FAQ before even episode one aired, I did not know they would go with "Mr. Hat and Clogs". I just chose "Sandal-hat" since that's what the Japanese literally translates to.

It's a minor discrepancy.
