This ep was better than last week's. Funnier moments and the ending built off of canon material mostly seen in the Shinigami Cup! I like the concept of these litlle short stories, they make me feel iike I'm reading a children's book. But not all of them are good.

Also I thought his Zanpaktu was harmless and couldn't do any attacks like that freakishly freaky Canon. Unless he absorbs peoples pain and charges himself up (like the red bar rising) and then releases it outwards towards his enemies (contradictory) or releases it into thin air (more likely). SO the more pain someone is in the stronger the attack becomes...wow that's morbid!

I've come to realize something after watching the filler. After Muramasa's removal from the cast, I really, REALLY enjoy the filler... as it's taking time to develop and nurture a lot of characters, as opposed to dash head first into the next arc. Between the random "Ichigo saves the day Pow Pow Ichigo!" parts that pop up, I'm really enjoying how goofy and light hearted this is. Tite Kubo could really learn something from the fillers... it's just flat out entertaining and enjoyable. I'll be a sad panda when they force us back into the drama ridden god-mod-athon that is the main story.

Saw the episode, but was busy in another part of the boards.

I'll say this about the episode, it was useful for having characters interact that otherwise never would, and had its fair share of funny moments, too.

Although, Hanataro's zanpakuto looks creepy as hell. I'm not sure what's freakier, that robot thing or the giant monster.

It's also lame that Kubo never revealed Nanao's zanpakuto, so she can never use it to fight in filler episodes. Though, it'd be more logical to just not have her fight in filler episodes, I guess.

I caught the tail-end of this one and saw Nanao. Is she in the whole episode? If so I'm gonna watch the encore.
