Scheduling on [as] is always a nightmare. They change it for a very short period of time without any notice and then are surprised when they don't see positive results. In the case of Bleach they don't take into account the fact that people are not sticking around for the filler. I expect the numbers to go up, whether they change the schedule or not.
But they obviously know about the fillers. They said on one of their bumps they were doing double premieres to help get through fillers faster. Idk, they probably don't though.
I hope 137 and 138 numbers are better.

Yeah. And they also said that right after the Bount arc ended and the Arrancar arc was starting, thus giving another indication that they aren't actually paying attention to things.

Yeah, I remember that too. It seemed like a weird bump given the timing of it. However, it makes perfect sense when you realize that they don't really know much about the series or where we are in it.

Yes, I'm all for more good anime. It's so sad that they've side-lined anime. I wish we could go back to the days when they actually showed re-runs on Thursdays. If you had to miss Saturday you could at least see the premieres then. I'm growing maudlin about the "good old days".

I feel you. I was discussing this with a friend. I even went to youtube and watched some old school Adult Swim Anime Promos and remembering the good old days. I think it was -back in 2001- 2005 or 06, now those were the days!

considering the simple fact 139 & 140 is canon and it had commercial promo i expect numbers to be above 400,000+.

Cool.........I hate all these idiots trying to take off Bleach. I have been an AS fan since tthe begininng , and if they take it off Im done with cartoon Network.
Who's trying to take off bleach?
Bleach is the most popular anime they have right now. I honestly think if they were to ever end saturday night anime..they would still have a slot for Bleach.
Think about it, bleach gets good ratings for anime. And it's a incredibly long series, it's going to eventually become longer then dragonball z. Why would they take this off and let another tv network possibly score rights to airing bleach? There is still another 2 - 3 years for this tv series to air on tv. I say this because double episodes will eventually end whether we like it or not.
Other then that, don't worry about bleach ending. I can almost promise you it will not end up like Inuyasha. Even if adult swim lose their minds and stop airing Bleach, another tv network or hulu will pick it up.

Hulu already has it.
Sub only, up to Episode #91, so they are just about to start the Bount Arc.
