Summary:
Ichigo's and Renji's fight with Ho and bantakes them outside the hospital. Hō and Ban transform their dolls into massive pillars of water that swallow up Ichigo, Renji and Rukia; while Chad and Orihime try to get Uryu to safety. Giving up on drowning Ichigo and the others, the twins decide to go after Uryū. Sado starts to fight the twins and separate them, causing their dolls to collapse. Sado and his group reunite with Ichigo's group at a warehouse where the twins confront them. Remembering that the twins need to be together in order for there powers to be function properly, Noba begins using his teleportation powers to separate the two. In response, Hō and Ban force Ichigo and company to drink their dolls, allowing the twins to rip their bodies apart from the inside.Suddenly, Ganju and Hanataro arrive, and Ganju uses his fireworks to destroy the dolls, killing Hō and Ban. Orihime notices that Uryū is now gone. He walked off while the others were fighting, but the effect of his fever soon overtakes him. Yoshino finds him lying in a puddle of water on the street and takes him in. She tells him later that she helped him because he has lonely eyes. During this time, Kariya has gathered a group of Bount for the task of finding Uryū.

Summary:
Yoshino finds Uryu collapsed in the streets and takes him to her home. Uryu asks why Yoshino saved him, and she says that it is because of something in his eyes. He asked if it was pity, and she says that at one time it may have, but not anymore. He later asks why she doesnt live with other bounts, she said that she used to believe that the bounts should live together, but that was a long time ago. She then tells Uryu that even though she has eternal life, she wishes she could die. Meanwhile, Kariya addresses the remaining bounts, he tells them that he has found a quincy, and that he needs their help to capture the quincy and acquire ultimate power. Then in the Gotei 13 the 11th squad discusses the detection of Maki's spiritual pressure. Then there is a flashback that show's why Maki left the Gotei 13, which is because Kenpachi killed the captain whom he swore loyalty to. After it shows one of the bounts asking what Maki thinks Kariya wants with a quincy. Then (back at yoshino's apartment) Yoshino tells Uryu her history (through a flashback that shows her being rescued by kariya and later marrying, then leaving, him) and that the true reason she rescued him was so that Kariya couldn't use him to get to Hueco Mundo and gain the power of a god. She then says that she won't let him acquire this power because she watched him murder someone, and she found that unforgivable. And this gave her a reason to live. And she says that she plans to go kill Kariya. After Yoshino leaves, Qoga reports to Kariya and tells him that he found Uryu.

Summary:
Koga attacks and tells Yoshino that she and Uryu are going with him to Kariys, Yoshino refuses to go with him and summons her doll (Goethe), Koga retaliates by summoning his doll (Dalk) who then proceeds to attack them. Yoshino grabs Uryu and they retreat to the roof, during the fight Uryu picks up a pipe and attacks Dalk, he is quickly overpowered, when Dalk goes to finish him Goethe attacks her with a massive wave of fire, however instead of killing her it only pisses her off. So she begins shooting marbles at Yoshino and Uryu, Goethe comes back but after Dalk lands a few hits Yoshino has to call him back. Koga tells Falk to hurry up, but she says that she wants to take her time and enjoy. He then tells her that she isnt allowed to harm Uryu, she takes this as an order to kill Yoshino, but before she can attack Uryu protects Yoshino. He then says that he doesn't want to run away anymore, this causes Dalk to attack him.
Afterwards, Ichigo and the others, along with the mod souls, are walking down a street. And Ririn says tht there were definately 2 bounts nearby earlier. They go to the roof and see the remains of the battle. They then learn that even though they can't track Uryu, the md souls can track the bounts if they were put back into their gigai, so that is what they do.
Back in soul society Mayuri holds a meeting with a number of captains and lieutenants and reveals that someone has been going through his data. Not only that, but they have also placed a booby trap that will destroy all of the data should it be disturbed. After expressing what will happen to the person responsible, he closes the conversation by saying that he WILL learn what truly happened.
After the meeting, Kenpachi expresses his concerns about the current situation to Yachiru, who asks him if he's just worried about Maki (Ichinose). He says that that isn't it and that he is worried about something else.
Orihime says that she has found some information about the mansion, and tells them that theman who lives there is very wealthy, but noone has ever seen him before. As this happens, Yochino is thrown into a cell and told that this is tghe last time that Kariya will forgive her, she is also told that using her doll would mean her death...........
Ichigo and the others then arrive at then entrance to the mansion and the mod souls confirm Uryu's presence inside. Ichigo then tells everyone to split up.
Inside the mansion Ryo asks if Kariya if he would like to see the quincy, Kariya says yes and as they are walking to his room Ryo begins questioning Kariya, which gets him yelled at.
Outside the mansion Rukia tells Ichigo that there are at least 7 bounts inside and that it worries her.
Inside the mansion Uryu is being held by Dalk, and Yoshi begins to taunt him, but Kariya walks in and sits down. Uryu asks who he is and Kariya introduces himself. Kariya tells him that he brought Uryu there because he is interested in his quincy powers, Uryu inquires if this is because he wants the power of Hueco Mundo, but Kariya ignores the question. He does tell him that they are similar because they are both rejected due to their abilities. Kariya then proposes that they join forces and says that they may be able to get Uryu's powers back. Uryu asks why he is wanted even though he has no powers and Kariya tells him again that it's because of all of their similarities. Uryu says that he has no reason to trust Kariya, but Kariya says that he will eventually. He then gets up to leave and tells Uryu to make himself at home, Uryu asks if he is a captive and is then told he is more of an important guest, Uryu is then locked in a room by Koga. Before he leaves, Koga tells warns Uryu of how dangerous Kariya is.
Ichigo and the others begin to notice that something is affecting their senses. Eventually they are attacked and Ichigo and Rukia meet up with the mod souls, they are attacked again and eventually end up in a room where they are greeted by Kariya and the other bounts.

Summary:
Ichigo senses Kariya's amssive spiritual pressure and realizes he is the leader of the bounts. Kariya tries to scare them but it only works on the mod souls. Ichigo says that he wants Uryu , but Kariya says that he doesn't intend to release him. So Ichigo decides to fight the bounts. Fyo attempts to stop the others from escaping but he is stopped by Ichigo so the others leave. Ryo then jumps down to confront Ichigo. Ichigo thinks that it's 7-1 but Ryo explains that he will be his inly oppent, and Kariya proves the point by removing his crest. As the battle begins Ryo slices at the ground to create snakes that attack Ichigo, one of the snakes wraps around Ichigo's leg and as he tries to get it off Ryo attacks.
Kurodo expresses his concern that Ichigo is in over his head, however the other assure him that he will be okay, and they tell him that once they get Uryu they wil use Noba's power to get Ichigo and escape from the mansion. Then they come across a room where Ichinose reveals himself to them. He also tells them that he used to be a part of the 11th squad. When the mod souls attack he casually defeats them without effort. He asks why Rukia is in a gigai and where her zanpakuto is. She tries to use a kido but Ichinose says that that won't be enough to do anything and reccomends that she uses her full power, and she says that at the time being that is her full power. She then asks why he is working with the bounts. He responds by asking her if she knows one of the three ways to become a captain. He explains that Kenpachi became captain by killing the old captain of Squad 11. He states that everything that he and his former captain fought for was lost, and because of that he didn't want to serve under Kenpachi, unlike everyone else who did. He said that Kariya gave him a reason to live again and that he will do anything to help Kariya. Ichinose says he can't let Rukia live now and prepares to kill her.
Uryu senses Ichigo's reiatsu and tries to get out of the room he is locked in. while this happens Yoshino realizes that she needs to escape.
As the battle between Ichigo and Ryo heats up when Ryo uses the Snake Net, which makes snakes come out of any surface that Ichigo touches, he says that a sensory reflex is reacting to something that you touch, and he remarks that this ability is exactly like that. He states that even shunpo can't escape this technique, when Ichigo asks how he knows about shunpo, Kariya states that it's only natural to do research on your enemy. Ryo then says that the conversation is over and makes the snakes more aggressive. Ichigo is soon overwhelmed and sent crashing into a wall. Ryo then apologizes for damaging the mansion. He then asks if Kariya wants him to get the others, but Kariya says that he has Ichinose taking care of it. Ichigo then gets up and says he's going to finish off Ryo and go help the others. Ryo then has a barrage of snakes attack Ichigo, but Ichigo destroys it with a Getsuga Tensho that also destroys part of the mansion.
Ichinose senses the attack and goes towards Kariya's location Rukia tries to stop him but is unsuccessful. Kariya then shows interest in how Ichigo managed to stop the attack with sheer force. Ryo then tries to take away Kariya's seal, and reveals that he is going to usurp Kariya, however Kariya interupts his little speech and angers Ryo to the point where he has his doll attack Kariya. Kariya blocks the attack with ease. Then Ichinose appears, releases his zanpakuto (Nijigasumi) and kills Ryo. Ichigo asks why he is helping the bounts, but Ichinose ignores him and states that he is the one who beat Kenpachi. He then brepares to fight against Ichigo.

Summary:
Ririn is worried about Noba and Kurodo after they are defeated by Ichinose and is worried that they'll die. Rukia wondes if she has the power to heal them. Then she notices Kurodo's arm twitch and realizes that he is conscious. She then tells them to stop acting like they're unconscious. When they wake up Ririn pinches Kurodo in the face for trying to fool her.
Meanwhile Ichinose and Ichigo start fighting. Nijigasumi allows Ichinose to gain the upper hand, until kariya steps in and takes over. He says that he is interested in Ichigo's spirit and suggests that he joins them. While kneeling to Kariya, Ichinose remembers the battle when Kenpachi killed his former captain and became captain of the 11th division. During the fight he and Tousen could not stop it, and Tousen comments on how he thinks that Kenpachi is dangerous. When Ichinose later challenges Kenpachi to a duel Kenpachi refuses, but says that he may consider it if Ichinose can injure him. So Ichinose attacks, but Kenpachi simply knocks his sword out of his hands. Kenpachi then tells Ichinose that he needs to learn to be more independant. After leaving Soul Society Ichinose wandered until he saw a town being attacked by a Hollow. He saves a child but ends up getting overpowered by the hollow. Kariya then saves him and allows him to finish off the hollow before recruiting him.
After the flashback Kariya tries to recruit Ichigo, but he fails and Ichigo attacks. He dodges and throws Iccigo into a wall. Ichigo gets up to resume fighting but the house comes under fire from Jinta and Ururu, who are shelling it. Yoruichi arrives and rescues Ichigo in the chaos. Elsewhere, Rukia and the others save Uryu and Yoshino and escape. Kariya doesnt mind that they escaped because he believes that they will return.

Summary:
In Soul Society Mayuri shows the other captains, the data that he found about the bounts. He reveals that the bounts and quincies fought a battle a long time ago. From the video it looks like they were looking for a specific quincy. Nemu then reports that after this the bounts continue to devour living human souls, breaking thir own law. Mayuri says that he doesnt know why they are after a specific quincy, but says that he sees similarities with the current situation and is certain that the bounts will continue to attack humans.
Yoruichi explains all of this to Ichigo and the others at Urahara's shop.
Rukia guesses that living humans' souls are needed to connect to Hueco Mundo, since they believe that Kariya wants to do this. Ichigo (pissed off that Kariya beat him so easily) asks why Kariya is doing all of this, and Urahara asks Ichigo if he is frightened, but Ichigo just says that he is worried that he can't beat Kariya. Ganju then arrives on a boar and interrupts them. He then explains that he felt how depressed Ichigo was about Kariya so he came to the shop.........then him and Renji take Ichigo downstairs to spar.
Meanwhile, Uryu and Yoshino then wake up and begin to talk about Kariya and Yoshin confesses that she does not understand what he is attempting to do. She also states that she herself regrets attacking humans. She then laments that the bounts are limited in number and cannot reproduce, this means that over the years they will eventually wither away and go extinct.
Underground, Ichigo, Ganju, and Ichigo negin to spar to help Ichigo get his fighting spirit back. Ganju soon has to leave to help Hanataro (who he left at the store to find Ichigo), and Renji makes Ichigo realize that he is planning too much, which is abnormal for him.
Aboveground, Yoshino kisses Uryu on the forehead while he sleeps and leaves Urahara's shop. She also says goodbye and thank you to him.

Summary:
Ichigo and Renji were sparring all night long and when they come out for breakfast they learn that Urahara is repairing the damage done to the gigais during the previous battle. Uryu tries to leave but Ririn catches him, so picks her up and takes her with him because she can help him find Yoshino.
Yoshino appears at the mansion to settle things with Kariya. He then tries to get Yoshino to rejoin him, but she just summons Goethe and attacks. However Kariya is to fast for Goethe to hit. Uryu arrives but and tries to help but Ririn tells him that he would just be in the way.
Back at Urahara's shop, Ichigo and the others get ready to move out and attack, Urahara then reccomends that Ichigo and Renji go ahead using shunpo and that they should avoid battle if possible.
At the mansion Yoshino is almost injured by her own doll, as Kariya explains that Yoshino has a maternal power, he tells Uryu to reveal himself. Uryu asks what Kariya is planning, and Kariya says that he has no use for a powerless quincy. He also says that he want to show Uryu something, he then disappears and grabs Yoshino from behind.
Ishigo and Renji arrive at the mansion to help but are intercepted by Koga and Ichinose. They are told they cannot pass and Ichigo begins to fight Ichinose and Renji begins to fight Koga.
Meanwhile, Kariya explains that he needs Yoshinos maternal power to acheive the power that he requires. He then tells her that she will become the mother of a new doll. Then he crushes her crest and Goethe launches one last attack and burns the clothes off of him, revealing that he has fused with his doll somehow. At this point Yoshino knows that she cannot win. However this does not stop her from calling out to Goethe, who attacks and even though Kariya dispels Goethe's body his flames fuse with Yoshino. The fused being then attacks Kariya but is still unable to land a hit. Eventually they make a final charge towards eachother and Kariya drives his hand through Yoshino. Ishida runs to her fallen body, she then says that she is thankful that she was able to die this way and her final words are those of thanks to the one with honest eyes, the one filled with pirde- the last of the quincy. Afterwards she disappears into green sparkles that then gather around Kariya's feet, he then chants something that makes a red seal appear beneath him, and with it comes Yoshino's rebirth as a new doll.

Summary:
Since the death of Yoshino there has been no bount activity. Urahara decides to take advantage of this by taking Renji to go investigate Kariya's mansion. While doing this he sends Ichigo home to come up with countermeasures against the bounts with the mod-souls. Kon and Ririn begin to fight and Yuzu catches Ichigo trying to stop them. When she leaves his shinigami badge begins to go off, so he and rukia leave to go fight the hollow. While they are gone Noba, Kurodo, and Ririn tell Kon that the bounts are after people with strong spiritual energy, like Ichigo's family, and then they decide that it is up to them to protect them. When Rukia and Ichigo come back they catch the mod-souls trying to set booby traps to catch the bounts, however Ichigo doesn't take them seriously at all, and questions who would be stupid enough to fall for them. Then they hear Hanataro get caught by one of the traps. Ririn thinks that this shows that the traps are a success, but Ichigo is unconvinced.
In order to prove their effectiveness, Kurodo and Ririn decide to stage a bount attack using gear that Urahara gave them. Unfortunately their plan backfires, and Rukia and Ichigo begin to chase the 2 of them around town. Ririn and Kurodo try to return to Ichigo's house, where they are caught by Ichigo. Renji and Rukia arrive as well, so Ririn and Kurodo decide to combine their suits. They then use their powers to surround Rukia with rabbits, transform zabimaru into a broom, and they strap Yuzu to themselves to keep Ichigo from attacking them.
Right before they finish off Ichigo and the others they fall prey to one of their own traps, and Noba has to rescue them and explain the situation before they get killed. Urahara says that they wont be using those suits anymore so that the mod-souls wont be mistaken for the enemy again.

Summary:
Karakura Town is under assault by bount dolls who are eating the souls of its residents, #### them dry and turning them to dust. The shinigami attempt to destroy them, but are unsuccessful. Ichigo and his Friends learn at school that people have been disappearing. Ririn and the others still can't detect the bounts, so Urahara decides to build a more powerful bounts sensor.
Meanwhile, Kariya has gathered the bounts in a cave that masks their spirit energy. He reveals that the new dolls can be used to increase their power by up to 10 times. He demonstrates this by ingesting the souls that one of the dolls captured, and it increases his power considerably. Mabashi, rejects and references Sawatari, who has aged 150 years because he absorbed so many living souls. Kariya responds by throwing him around the cave, and explains the HE is the bounts new law.
Back in Soul Society, Hitsugaiya tells Kira, Yumichika, Hisagi, and Rangiku about the current situation. He then tells them to go to the world of the living and deal with the situation.
At Urahara's shop Sui-Feng shows up and tells Urahara that Yoruichi is going to do some more investigating in the Soul Society. Urahara then has a conversation with Uryu about him regaining his powers. Uryu says that if he had had them that Yoshino may not have died, and that he just wants to fond the truth for now.
In the bount cave the bounts all drink the souls and feel their incredible new powers. Kariya ends up having to force Mabashi to drink them though.
In Karakura Town Ichigo and the others decide to split up to find and destroy the new bount dolls. Renji ends up finding them first, and after destroying a few, a large wave apears and he prepares to fight them.

Summary: Renji is eventually overwhelmed by the bitto. Ichigo and Rukia sense this, but cannot do anything because Jinta and Ururu stop them. They give Ichigo the new bount sensor, however he refuses to use it because it is the same headband he used in his training with Urahara and he doesnt want to say the phrase that activates it. When he does activate it, Rukia comments on how weird the password is, and he starts to argue with her. Before he can do anything, though, his body begins to involuntarily move towards the bounts. So Ichigo leaves and Rukia, Ururu, and Jinta decide to go look for Renji.
Meanwhile, Keigo is attacked by the bitto, he barely manages to escape and eventually ends up collapsing. As this happens Ichigo arrives and begins to fight the bitto surrounding Keigo. He is then attacked by Koga and Dalk, eventually Dalk destroys Ichigo's headband and he collapses. As Ichigo states that they are stronger than before, Koga tells Dalk that their investigation is over. Ichigo then says that he will not lose and he will protect Keigo.
Elsewhere, Orihime asks Kurodo about what happened to renji and he says that he is either unconscious or unable to fight anymore. Before he can say more Rukia, Jinta, and Ururu appear. They ask about Renji but are told that they are unsure because as soon as they got there Renji's Reiatsu disappeared. When Orihime asks about Ichigo, Rukia tells her that he's going after the bounts and that Orihime and Kurodo should go help him. She says that she'll go look for Renji herself, but before anyone can do anything Yoshi attacks them. While Yoshi talks with her doll Rukia tells Jinta to go look for Renji and for Ururu to go find Chad. Jinta tries to argue but is interrupted by another attack from Yoshi. After exchanging a few attacks Orihime and Kurodo tell Rukia that they will fight to. They also ask Yoshi where Kariya is and what the Bounts want.
Meanwhile, Ichigo is eventually overwhelmed by Dalk. Then Dalk launches an attack at Keigo and Ichigo blocks it and tells her not to mess with him.As he does this he sees Ichigo, which surpises him. Koga then tells him that this is because most of his soul has been #### out. This doesnt convince Ichigo, who asks Koga why the Bounts are using the bitto. Koga replies by telling Ichigo that it is to further the bounts goals. Keigo then tells Ichigo to run as he suddenly passes out. So Ichigo cuts Dalk in half with a Getsuga Tensho. Before Ichigo can take care of Keigo, Dalk stretches out her arms and grabs Ichigo's sword and keeps him from using it. Dalk then extends more arms and grabs Ichigo, she then tries to crush him but he manages to break free.
Elsewhere, Ururu tells Chad and Noba what is going on, but before they can do anything they are confronted by Sawatori.
Back at Ichigo's location, Ichigo managed to escape Koga because Ririn created an illusion. Ririn tells him that they need to escape but Ichigo tells her that he has to go get Keigo. As Ririn tries to convince him otherwise Koga appears again with Dalk and resumes the battle. Dalk create a web that prevents Ichigo from escaping again. Eventually she wears him out and he collapses. Dalk steals his sword and attempts to use it, however Ichigo grabs his sword back just in time and throws Dalk, it is then shown that Ichigo has called upon his hollow powers. The Hollow Ichigo then attacks Dalk and dispells her. After this Ichigo rips his mask off and collapses. Koga tells him that he lacks the heart to control his power, and that this will lead to his destruction in the future. He then summons Dalk ad tells him not to make him suffer too much.
The episode ends with Jinta finding Renji passed out on the ground.

Summary:
Rukia attacks with Hado #33 but it is ineffective so in order to give her the time to chant the spell to make the Kido more powerful Kurodo and Orihime decide to distract Yoshi to buy time for Rukia. Kurodo tranforms into Renji and begins fighting, eventually Orihime joins as well. This buys Rukia enough time to attack, unfortunately it is still completely uneffective. Yoshi then stabs Kurodo and asks the other 2 if they have any more tricks up their sleeves.
Meanwhile, Koga watches Ichigo on the ground and comments on how he's always been forced to watch young men die. In a Flashback, Kariya arrives at Koga's home with another bount, named Cain, and tells him that he wants him to teach Cain to live as a bount. Koga refuses, and says that bounts need to learn these things on their own. Kariya says that the reason he is entrusting Cain to him is because he is so strong and that he has survived for so long. He also says that Cain is very important to the bounts and if Koga refuses to help that they will lose a very valuable friend. In the end Koga agrees and Kariya gives him a book of doll summoning, which he wrote himself. He says he wrote it to give his brethren without dolld the ability to summon them, then he leaves. Cain then tells Koga that he doesnt want to live with him and tries to leave, however, Koga easily stops him and throws him towards his house. Koga says that if Cain wants to leave than he can, but at his current power level he will be unable to survive for very long. So Cain decides to stay, and as time passes they become closer.
In a store, Koga goes to buy Cain a coat because the coming months are cold and he will not be able to train if his body is freezing. As they walk home Cain thanks Koga for everything he has done for him and shows regret for the way he acted when they first met. Then they are confronted by several people who try to steal Cain's coat from him. Cain tries to argue with them but Koga tells him that they arent worth it. So they try to attack Koga who is unaffected by them and goes to drag Cain home. However, before they can get there they are attacked by another mob, and at this point Koga has no choice but to summon Dalk, who ends up scaring them away. Cain admires the doll, and is told that one day he will have one of his own because he is a chosen human, a bount.
Back at home, during training, Koga asks Cain what he plans on doing once he becomes strong. Cain responds by telling him that he wants to be like him. Cain then tells him how he has learned by living with him and Koga tells him it may be time for him to aquire a doll. So he gives Cain the book and tells him not to attempt the summoning by himself, that he will help him with it. Despite this Cain attempts to summon his doll by himself. Koga senses what is happening and rushes to Cain's aid, but he is too late because Cain has already created the doll. He then tells Koga that he will show him that he can command it, even though Koga says not to because he doesnt know what might happen. Cain does it anyway, and the doll ends up turning on him. The doll then disappears and Cain ages and turns to dust.
Later on, Kariya is crying over Cain's grave and Koga apologizes and says that it was his fault. Kariya then tells Koga that the bounts should live together, instead of alone, and Koga agrees with him.

Back in the present, Ichigo asks Koga what they want to accomplish and he says that it is for the bounts to rule the world. Ichigo gets back up to fight Koga because he says that he wont let them use Keigo's life for that. Koga then orders Dalk to kill Ichigo, but before she can Kira stops her.
