I'm not sure myself. But I take a guess at 3 possible reasons.

1. If this is the shorter series that some are thinking it's gonna be (12-13 eps) this might just be a break to lengthen run time.

2. The animation, voice acting, or some other aspect of the show is delayed and time is required in order to get production back on track.

3. There may have been a special report from the government or something (like a state of the union address or something) and that preempted the latest showing.
