The way it looks to me, Saya and Kaori have a very strong friendship that continues to grow more and more sincere. It's getting to the point their relationship is so strong that it's beginning to border on feelings of attraction and love, but neither are truly aware of it yet.... that or Kaori's in the closet and Saya's oblivious.

Getting back to what SickAndWretched and Splitter brought up..........

Saya and Kaori are just best friends.  I know what you are thinking but Blood+ isn't that kind of anime.  That relationship was revisited on episode 14 "The Last Sunday" before Saya and The Red Shield head off to Russia.  That scene of the two in the first episode is adorable yes but that's just anime for you.  I've seen about a dozen other anime that have stuff just like that and more.  Which remind me of a old anime fan saying: "if it doesn't have cute and fluffy then it's just not good anime"...........and no, I am not really in to the "cute and fluffy" stuff unless it's funny.

Yeah, I know It has been a year now and the show is about to have its grand finale (as its last episode will air) in about 24 hours from now, but thought I come back and check up on things.

Boy has this thread died off after the show started airing a year ago.  Oh well, updates are forthcoming as I need to add all that information on here that I've left out before, and yes, this also means that spoiler restrictions have been lifted on this thread so feel free to post anything related to the entire series.  Just make sure to mark all spoilers to comply to the rules on this here boards.

.I have a question.  Does anyone know if Sony will re-release the first box set/or the 2nd box set (when ever it is released) with actual English Subtitles instead of the dub track subtitles? I can't watch it subbed it hurts to much.  The font they chose was horrible.  If they used the font that we saw on [as] for the opening title cards i think it would be fine.

dood, we'll be lucky if sony releases the second box set at all. i have it on good authority that sony has been notorious, at one time or another, for not releasing all of a series on dvd. i'm guessing "no" on the first set, too...
