Given some of the Spumco co-produced bumps, I'd guess the voice was John K. impersonating Burt Reynolds. Unless of course [as] actually got Burt Reynolds.

I was thinking something like that was the case, either an impersonator or Reynolds himself. I'd also like to say since you mentioned it, I am really liking the Spumco bumps. I haven't followed John K's wonderful blog lately so it was a pleasant surprise to see them on AS.

Unless he had a cold or something and was -really- playing into the depression thing, Burt Reynolds has a voice like a banjo - doesn't seem to be able to sell 'depressed' even if you ran him over with a steamroller.

So like I said, probably John K. doing an impersonation. It's certainly his brand of humour.
