Here's an idea to show off the creativity of the [adult swim] users.
If you're good with video editing software, this could be for you...
Create and produce your own [adult swim] bump!!

It could be a Viewer Bump, or it could be a regular B&W bump.  Either of those two will do.

All you need is a video editing software, like Windows Movie Maker or something a little more advanced, a place to share your videos [like YouTube], and an ounce of creativity. 

The intial rules, and if someone wants to add to these rules later on, we can splice them in:
1 - Video length should be no more than 15 seconds
2 - Format: Stick to the white letters on a black background.  Picture use should be at a minimum, and nothing vulgar or illegal, either.  No video, though.  Maybe in another thread I will offer people a centralized location to post promo ideas.
3 - Make sure that you put on the description for your video that it is not an official [as] bump.
4 - For music, it's a grey area.  On YouTube, there are a bunch of videos out there that uses music from popular groups.  But usage of them, without the approval of the artist, may still violate the copyright laws.  I'm not going to be a lawyer on this subject, so I would disuade users from using popular music [note the word "popular", not "pop"] for the bumps.   [as] doesn't use popular music in their bumps.  The best suggestion would be to use music from underground groups, or to use classical music that is in the fair-use realm.  But saying that may take away some of the creativity here.  Just be mindful of music copyrights, and attribute your music properly.  You're only using 15 seconds MAX, anyways.

I hope this idea works, and gets people's creative juices flowing.
Maybe, just maybe, if [as] likes some of these, they might use some of them.

who cares if ]as[ likes them?  even though they determine the content, it's the viewers ultimely who should be able to vote and choose.  lol.   

what about original music,  like acapello?

You're right about using (for lack of better terms) "un"-popular music...for example the song that plays during the lineup is called "mandeer" by Asian Beets Culture and im 99.9% sure it is royalty free music like a back track or something...music specifically designed for free usage...ususally generic...ahh my RTV (radio, television, and video) major at work...

"Mandeer" is not free, it's from a production library and is not legally available to the public for purchase or download.

I actually made a few quick still-frame bumps with photos my aunt had taken when I was visiting her in Seattle with some Aphex Twin and a Diplo track. I posted them on Bumpworthy's boards.

It's not the B&W card bumps this thread was made for, but if anyone wants to see them I could maybe link to 'em.

Here's my one and only attempt at a bump - it was really for a SHOTTS contest - some sloppy stop motion done with a point & shoot camera. Took me all freakin' day

Man we should petition next winter season for them to use your bump if for anyreason I mean its really good and inline with what they normally do and if u look at your tube vid collection your way more hardcore and helpful than an average fan and most mods (stand back I may be struck by lightning )

I love the port-a-potty picture, it's really one of my favorite photos my aunt took while coming back to the 'States after visiting Canada (Vancouver is a beautiful city). I felt I needed to play with it as a bump, haha.
