So it would seem you guys don't come over to the anime threads very often. Or you'd be considering putting some anime on after Thundercats.... What's the word eh? You guys aren't chicken are you?

Adult Swim has Thundercats? When did this happen?

 No Adult swim comes on after Thundercats. Thundercats is on at 8:30pm on CN. Then Adult swim pours its guts with KotH at 9pm. Just seems like an odd transition. I can't see Hank fighting Mumra. haha.

ThunderCats is part of Cartoon Network's offerings and not [adult swim]'s. While they share the same channel, they are still considered two different networks for ratings purposes. If the anime ratings were enough to start the block out strong and keep it going strong throughout the entire night, I'm sure they'd jump at the chance to snag some of those ThunderCat lead-in ratings.

Unfortunately, when you think about it, they don't currently have an anime that would be acceptable for airing that early in the evening when there are younger viewers that might still be floating around. Even InuYasha might be considered somewhat too violent for 9 / 8 Central time slot and there'd still be the problem of what to fill the next couple of hours with until Bleach's current schedule. Splitting anime with comedy filler wasn't the greatest idea the last time they tried it, doing anything like that again would be hell.

That said, I wouldn't have minded too much if [as] had ThunderCats so that they could use it as a legitimate lead-in to the more appropriate feeling shows like the anime or even Boondocks [although the anime feels better]. King of the Hill does feel like a step back in the programming flow but I can understand it's place in the schedule as a familiar show to draw people into the [as] ratings collection net.

I've been watching [AS] since its god dam conception.. WHAT MADE [AS]? Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and SEVERAL other good animes.. YOU fukin morons at [AS] need to get off your bull **beast** fukin high horse and put the type of shows that MADE your block back on the air.. I agree with him too to a certain extent. I do believe great animes like trigun cowboy bebop case closed lupin the third flcl wolfs rain blood + is what made adult swim popular I mean I remember as far back as when I was like 9 staying up all night every night to watch every show now its backround noise half the time while I surf the web because you guys air something stupid like Tim and Eric or squidbillies or robot chicken I don't like any of that it feels like adult swim wad the first intellectual programing for kids I loved it used to watch certain shows every time a new episode would come out but now I don't even watch bleach wich is like my favorite shows just cuz I feel like I'm getting stupider the more I Watch shows like Tim n Eric and squidbillies and also king of the hill is alright but ive seen all of them back when it came on fox before simpsons .

I feel adult swim has lost it's way. Shows like Squidbillies and Children's Hospital make me feel like I'm bordering on mental retardation half the time. They seriously need to bring back the classic anime that made them popular, but that's just me.

It'll take Adultswim a near meltdown in constant ratings before they realize we are right. The same thing goes for me now. I don't even watch bleach anymore. Most the anime now is reruns unfortunately. And the ones that are new... (ahem) the 2 that have new episodes... ei/Bleach-Durarara!!... Just don't have enough pull now. We're stuck with constant reruns when there are plenty of shows out there now that could fill positions like full metal, GitS,Bebop, ect. I'm not saying get rid of these shows by any means either. What needs to happen is have a second night for rerun episodes of anime... (consecutive reruns) And have a night of pure anime with new episodes on up to the 2 am mark. (or anytime I suppose)

And hey ADULTSWIM....  remember when you said no more anime because you didn't want to lose to the QVC network? Ready to listen to me now? Eh?  Or shall I say us. And by us I mean 500K with passion and conviction!!!
