The Steve Brule segments in T&E were the only parts I liked of that show, so naturally I was excited when I heard of the spin-off.  This episode did not disappoint my expectations.  Loved it.  My only real complaint is that some of the "technical difficulties" seemed unnecessary and frankly unrealistic.  Technical difficulties "for the lawls" are funnier when it looks like you didn't do it on purpose...

Ditto.

I love that they went for a "lo-fi" appearance, but the video errors and jump-cuts, 90% of the time, seemed obviously-unnatural, which kind of killed the illusion.

That's the singular issue I have with this show... ever-thang else is pure awesome!

I loved it.

Although I'm more and more scared how much Brule reminds me of family members.

I liked that they took the choppiness of T&E and upped it a little. I mean for god's sakes, look at his set! Also if you notice the timing of some, **unce** spot on! :smileyvery-happy:

But to each his own on this show, I know since it's the spawn of T&E it will be just as volatile.

You can only please some of the people all of the time,

and all of the people some of the time,

but IMO although some of it was a little forced i really liked the feel they went for.

I just saw this...wow. I thought it was better than some of the later episodes.
