Reilly as Dr. Steve Brule, the set includes all 6 Season 1 episodes.

For all you peeps cryin' about the show not getting a second season, you better be buying the DVD! This is your way to show some real support. I will definitely be buying this. I hope they come out with a second one - either way, gotta love it.

Was anyone able to track down the DVD? Today was supposedly the release date, but I wasn't able to order it online and none of the stores I called had it in stock. Did the release date get pushed back further?

 Today was supposed to be the street date for a DVD release of Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule - Season 1, the [adult swim] spin-off from Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, that was produced by and stars John C. Reilly. We've gotten several e-mails from readers inquiring about it, as it wasn't available today after all. We inquired about it and the studio's PR team send over this statement about the title:       

As an update to earlier reports, the release date for the upcoming Adult Swim DVD, Check it Out! with Dr. Steve Brule is currently being determined, but will not be released on February 8th as sources have stated. As soon as there is updated information about this title, it will be provided. 

So there you go. As you can see from the Amazon.com pre-order listing at the button link below, they are not currently doing any more advance sales, but instead say to "Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available", and they inserted a placeholder release date for the first day of the year 2037 (obviously something typed in at random, just to clear the old date out of the system). In the meantime, we've changed the date to "TBA" in the system for our own site. Our thanks to the studio's PR team for the quick answer to our question, and as they say you should just stay tuned for updates!
