Check It Out! with Dr Steve Brule

I loved it. I was sad to see T&E go but i noticed it was very similar with the random editing. Also i saw Tim worked on the show. What did u guys think of it?

I thought the show was pretty boring... I enjoyed Tim and Eric awesome show and i enjoyed brule in the show but i didn't enjoy the new brule show. In my opinion the show is a waste and shouldn't be called a comedy but if you guys really like it that much then i hope you enjoy the show better than i can. It's the first episode so hopefully the 2nd episode can catch my attention so i can give a better 2nd opinion.

not the biggest T&E fan but they have a tendency to make me laugh every episode at the random ness. This show just doesn't have the effect on me I love this guy in movies with Will Ferral but this is definitely not my style lol. I'll check out next episode to see if it does him justice.

It's too easy to just dismiss me as a troll.  The fact of the matter is Check It Out is going to be an even worse show than Awsome Show was and I didn't even think that was possible.  Hopefully, it dies the quick death it deserves and we can be done with this foolishness forever.

This is EXACTLY the kind of stuff I find outstanding.  Random, poorly produced, and completely over-the-top.  Bad TV at its best.  

I also enjoy sitting in myapartment by myself.

I hate T&E, but FOOD was hilarious! I watched it over and over again!  The wassabi sauce and that dingus saying wassup! And we are going to have some sushi sandwiches!  I didn't like the ep2.  Like I really wanted to see T&E going down on each other.  Bruels humor is actually better than T&E, and that is something.  T&E, nobody wants to see you two queers loving on each other, ok!  Go find a room!

I thought it was funny 'cause I could relate to Dr. Brule's eating habits since I myself am eternally biased when it comes to vegtables (like Brule, I dismiss 'em as "rabbit food")  & I also have a tendency to dismiss fish (mostly tuna) as "cat scraps"

Fortunately, I DON'T spit milk on my food to cool it down, I just wait awhile if it burns my mouth.

I also laughed at the ending where the next show's host shows up early, Dr. Brule says "I'm tryin' to do a show here" & the host of the next show says "Could you please go?" right before freezing picture for closing credits.

I also liked the "Parody of bad public access" concept  (i.e. tape stretching, poor editing, technical glitches)

I was pretty intoxicated/...doing other things, so it was extremely funny to me.

They completely changed the whole character.  He's supposed to be a goofy, whacky guy who sometimes stutters over his speech while he tries to figure out how to explain what's going through his head..  Instead, he's semi-mentally retarded and has slurred speech.

He's supposed to be awkward-not mentally challenged.  The "Tim and Eric" Brule had me rolling every single time.  The "Check It Out" Brule has me digging to find something funny.

Remember the #1 rule of comedy-it's all about the presentation.  There are good jokes and gags on Check It Out-but they're just not presented well.

I actually thought as the show progressed, John C. Riley seems to alter Steve Brules character. In his short appearences in T&E ASGJ he was more direct, spoke faster, stumbled less. Later he seemed more held back and reserved.
