Which season do you think is better, and why?

I went back to watch all of Season 1 since it's been almost two years since I've watched it.  It only takes a little more than an hour, it's nice to watch in bed.

I stand by my previous statement that while Season 1 was nice and entertaining, Season 2 really blew me away.  It's funnier.  There were several moments when I was on my back laughing, especially during "Money" and "Pleasure," where I don't think there were very many moments like that in Season 1.  It was deeper.  Not only did they dive deeper in the darkness that is Steve's life, but the show themes were explored in new and different ways.

I'm going to go out on a limb and call Season 2 of Check It Out! one of the best single seasons in Adult Swim history.

Considering the 6 episode length of each season, I consider all 12 episodes as a whole, perfect length for a real [as] season. I enjoyed the focus on darker and more baffling bits of season 2, but the first 6 episodes always remind me of how excited I was to see this ws even a show at all. The puppet nightmare, the Gay bear bar, Jan and wayne meltdown where her wig files off, amazing.

Friendship to me is one of the funnier ones... though i do love those stupid broats.
