It's like a lame Saturday Night Live sketch stretched out as a series. The show reeks of trying too hard and it just seems to hurry up and get to the next joke as fast as possible. I can see remnants of comedy in it, the idea itself should be funny but the writing and delivery leave a lot to be desired.

I understand that this show is trying to parody or just plain make fun of Scrubs and other hospital shows... But when shows like Scrubs are not even THAT funny, it's really hard to see the humor. I really like each cast members' work outside of this show, but they can totally do better than this.

It's from the Trial of the Monarch, though. They're in the jury. Along with some other people who work on the show, I believe.

   I am a recent new fan of the show, and I think you are missing the point. Hospital shows have become so cliche, and like 'Scrubs', they tend to grasp at straws when it comes to humor. Children's Hospital conveys the irony and cheap humor of such shows and is able to deliver it within ten minutes. I suggest watching it again with an open mind and an awareness that it is in fact referring to the cliche that is TV hospital drama.

I like what I see so far as well. Not only does it parody Scrubs well, but also every other show. I love the music, its total House rip-off, as well as the over-the-top ridiculousness (simulates the **werd** they pass as good emoting on Grey's Anatomy). Plus all the actors look just like TV doctors should. I love the cast and the characters are perfect parodies.

A parody of a parody becomes the thing they are parodying. Yeah I get they are parodying scrubs and other TV & movie medical dramas, still doesn't make it funny.

This is a one-note concept. It's not funny, and the writing is bad.

The "in your face dark humor" does not cover up the utter lack of cleverness. Yeah, we get it, it's a "Scrubs" parody with lots of **werd** and gore jokes. Must have taken a team of genius writers.

I have put up with a lot of the live action experiments from AS over the years, watched them, didn't exactly care for them, and moved on with my life.

This piece of crap is so lifeless and dull and shamelessly promoted, I am actually a little offended by its existence.

Just for reference - I love The Venture Bros, Squidbillies, and many other animated AS shows, and I am not averse to "dark humor", or live-action comedies - I think "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" is a hilarious live-action show. In fact, I'm just going to go buy all 5 seasons of that and pretend AS does not exist until the new Venture Bros airs. 

This show is an abortion and I hope AS takes it off the air - sooner, rather than later.

yesss for always sunny in phildelipia thats probably the best show on tv besides venture brothers and Dexter. Once i come up with extra money, Im buying as many Seasons of it as possible.

my opinion on this show is hit or miss. sometimes i laugh and other times its just like ok i get it your trying to be edgy but its just coming off wrong. i love the actors but i just really dont know with this show.

I can't stand Childrens Hospital. I have to agree with the people here about the show's tasteless sexual innuendos towards children. Very sickening. Even on a bad day I can't see how any of this could be funny. I've only seen a couple of episodes, and n one some kid has this disease that makes him grow into an adult real fast. While I understand its an adult actor playing this child, the concept of the female doctor **NaClO** him (and he clearly acting to be a child with this strange disorder) and giving him Viagra to keep 'it up' is not only tasteless, but trashy.

Another episode had a scene where they surgically implemented breast implants inside a young baby; that is pedophile material. The material in this show isn't genius, it's the inner-workings of a sick, twisted mind dripping with disgusting pedophile fantasies.

Adult Swim should be sued for airing this trash.

Its a pretty good parody of ER.  They poke fun at the 'mature' nature or the characters interactions in the workplace and at home.  Its better than Arrested Development anyday

I too registered just to spew my hate for this show. It's really really really really not funny. Rob Cordry needs to stick to acting(which he really isn't good at and is a horrible overactor) and stop writing.

This show wasn't funny as a webseries, but at least at the time that it came out it was relevant. TV has been overrun by lame cop shows and reality shows. Grey's Anatomy is the only "medical" show that regularly cracks the top 20 in ratings. A good reality series spoof needs to be made and live action. Drawn Together was hilarious, but a live action reality spoof is needed!

Really though why was this show even created? You don't see real comedians taking on topics that are already funny. That's not comedy. These shows (ER, Grey's, House, etc.) are so lame that they're funny. Just like how people watch CSI:Miami; just to laugh at the bad acting and horrible plot lines. It's one thing to spoof politicians, but to make a TV show that spoofs a specific genre of TV shows is pretty lame and unoriginal. It's like watching one of those stupid movies that spoofs other stupid movie genres(dance movies, horror movies, gansta movies, etc.) and just isn't funny.

The bottom line is this isn't a good show. It's got actors posing as writers and the subject matter is lame. Who seriously watches the lame shows they are spoofing? I don't. Maybe that's why I don't get the jokes, but really it's more of a case of really bad writing. Just because it's taking cliches and amplifying them, DOESN'T mean it's funny. Actually just the opposite. Making jokes about the "healing power of laughter" is so lame and not funny. I can't believe this show was picked up for an effing third season. Oy Vey!

Oops...I dunno how I forgot about Delocated!! That show rules, but OTHER reality show spoofs are needed. Like a Survivor or a really bad DWTS spoof would be awesome. Especially cuz it could feature real D-List celebs.

I registered just to say that Futurama is on Comedy Central opposite Children's Hospital. Plus yu can always DVR something good like ATHF or Robot Chicken and watch that for the duration.

BTW.. Delocated **BOO** too!! CNN is more fun to watch than that POS.

And you're laughing so hard, and just can't understand why they're not laughing too... It is so bad.  "Robot Chicken" bad even.  Why cannot [adult swim] just rely on Fox programming to carry itself?
